If it's just going to be adventures where the circus background and characters don't matter much, then watching 3 episodes is more than enough. If you want to explore elements the series left hanging, like the whole C&A theme or why the circus keeps running on an abandoned computer, then you at least need to watch up to episode 8 along with several theory videos.

Episode style would be best, although the concept of a "caricature episodic" roleplay works with practically anything, even a supermarket. Imagine something like a regular show where you go to get fish to restock and end up fighting Poseidon for some kek reasons
