First, and the backbone of the RP was the Nemesis Project. What is this? Well, basically a definitive countermeasure created by the Future Foundation to deal with the remnants of despair from the second game.

It is said in the original lore that there were several divisions and many graduates from before the Tragedy put in there precisely to try to rebuild society from the ashes left by the Class 77th, the one with Hinata and the others. This program was created as a direct response to the talents of the monkeys from the second game. See...

For example, Fuyuhiko (the mobster) Vs. Jordan (The CEO). Two talents directed to be leaders of various people as an organization, so that these can be neutralized over time. And so with all the others: Pharmacist Vs. Nurse. Princess Vs. Butler. Cook Vs. Nutritionist. Caregiver Vs. Veterinarian. Etc, etc...

What happens? Well, in the timeline it is said that no matter all the measures of the Future Foundation to stop these crazies, they could never catch them while Junko was alive because she's a genius of evil. But in the RP, this was due to the mastermind of Kill/Cure... The RP takes place at the same time as the first game of Naegi and the rest, by that time they had already kidnapped everyone and put them into the murder game of the RP.

The difference with Naegi's is that this wouldn't be broadcast to the whole world but only to the Foundation and Junko, mainly to prove a point and decide a bet between the mastermind and the traitor of the Future Foundation who conspired to put them all in the retreat school (an old Hope's Peak facility and all).
The bet was "Would people choose hope even if the sacrifice were themselves?". Obviously, the conspirator trusted you while the mastermind voted no.

Trials:

1 case: In this one Ai Koboro died, the Ultimate Lucky Student. The thing is she wasn't at all. Her original title was the Ultimate AI. Created by the programmer of her generation who used her to skip classes like a good Hikikomori.
This one, after recovering her memories due to a glitch in Korosaru's brainwashing (the one shown at the start), ends up choosing to sacrifice herself just for the slim chance of hacking the facility and freeing everyone.
But she ends up dead and incinerated by the Ultimate Filmmaker before she can succeed, due to the motive behind the first murder and because she was discovered by the Ultimate Mastermind. Not without being a pain in the ass for the rest of the game and the reason they survive in the long run.

I don't remember the rest of the cases well because they weren't that important. But the plot of the fifth one was that after many twists, they discover the Ultimate Apprentice is actually the Ultimate Spy, tasked with dealing with the fat jerk (Ultimate Impostor). She also figures out who the Ultimate Mastermind might be, but she's missing one crucial piece... She ends up executed after making a deal with the Veterinarian and his pigeon, who, after both of them die, no one else will die anymore.

And she'd be right, because what she was missing was "Who was the traitor of the Future Foundation?" And only the Ultimate Mastermind could know that. Mostly because he was her class advisor, and since they spent a lot of time together during their internships, many of his quirks and sayings are now part of Korosaru's own habits.

And the sixth one's plot would be the classic "Who is the Ultimate Mastermind?" And well, it's Junko Enoshima's father, basically the reason why the girl herself was almost untouchable for everyone.
Upon discovering it, he basically tells them how the world went to shit and gives them two options: "Either you die here and Naegi's class survives, or you let them die and you yourselves survive." (Remembering that both happen at the same time.)
The correct answer is to sacrifice yourself for the greater good. If they do, the advisor wins the bet, and the principal's head explodes because that was the price if he lost. In the end, they never see that advisor again, but they're eventually rescued by the original AI Koboro along with the Future Foundation, while Naegi keeps pumping hope into his friends and trolling Junko.

Oh, and I guess it goes without saying. But Kurui Enoshima was also untouchable; she only accepted the bet because that's exactly what her little sister would want. Since they were both equally crazy. And it would add even more despair to the final execution... She lost her father, her sister, her entire plan fell apart, and on top of that, the Asshole was responsible.

And now, why didn't it continue if everything was planned?

Because someone stole my phone where I had all the data, lore, and half-finished turns, and I got super lazy about redoing them. Not to mention the unification, and also I couldn't figure out how to make a fun system for the trials and stuff.

Part two has many ups and downs but it's passable (still very inferior to part 1) once you read it at your own pace without having to deal with cliffhangers and weeks of waiting, the ending as such is shit and needs a bit more depth and at least a couple more chapters before reaching it, or to be extended in the same chapter (it takes a lot of cope to accept that even though there was a reset, the devils were still affected/have deja vu of their character development from the previous universe like Power wanting Denji from the start when that wouldn't happen, he wanted to do an Evangelion and it didn't work out). Pochita's powers are a walking contradiction, and Asa's ass was sacrificed for Power's ass.

In this new universe, since there's no Chainsawman, AIDS, Nazis, and those other things Fujimoto invented like the star that makes kids autistic, humans' sixth sense, or other afterlives besides death, are back, so even though Denji's life got better, everyone objectively got worse, kek, not to mention that even though he doesn't exist, that doesn't explain why we jumped from Makima to Nayuta or why the brat is still a brat and still runs public safety.

Fujimoto will do oneshots for a few years before returning in __Man, or part three, whatever you want to call it, in a couple of years when Jump needs extra cash and they cancel another 30 manga as a sacrifice to keep Oda alive so he can keep sucking off Watsuki.

During these days, this interview has been circulating a lot in which Fujimoto talks about wanting to do an ending like The Big Lebowski (a movie I haven't seen). Seeing the internet's reaction to the ending, I think he really achieved it, you just have to look at the memes they've been making. When you compare these with those of other works whose endings were an eeeehhh.... you realize that the fandom isn't really laughing at the ending, they are laughing WITH the ending. Despite the shitty pacing the manga has had, it has managed to be something memorable and enjoyable.

I myself find myself thinking about how many of the ideas presented are tremendous in terms of possibilities, even though I know perfectly well that the execution was terrible, and all of that makes me realize that CSM IS NOT A BAD STORY.

The worst sin any work of fiction can commit is to be so forgettable that you can't even bitch about it for how nothing it is. An example that comes to mind when I think about that is the anime of pic.

Once, there was a superhero roleplay where the OP killed one of his players without asking for a dice roll or anything like that, after the player's character stole something for a bad guy, without any good reason or justification. The bad guy shot him out of nowhere once in the getaway car, supposedly because he had fulfilled his purpose and she didn't need him anymore, or didn't want to leave loose ends, something along those lines (Nigga motherfucker, there are like 5 crazy cats with superpowers in the whole city and on top of that this dumbass did exactly what you asked her, what do you mean you don't need her, you single-brained son of a bitch who gave birth to you?) Right after the nigga fought another NPC enemy using dice and everything like a normal roleplay, only to then pull that on him at the end.

I think he said it was necessary for the story or gave a similar excuse.

He literally used one of his only players' characters as a disposable NPC for the supposed and improbable benefit of the background plot that only he knew, it was glorious. I genuinely don't know what the problem was with that anon, it was in the archaic beginnings of the community like two boards ago so it died a long time ago and I can't even ask him, still, I kek every time I remember it.


What do you guys think about killing your nigga players? I know some who don't flinch if their players roll really bad dice, or if the numbers don't add up in the combat systems they use fuck you, you piece of shit but personally, I prefer to sacrifice one of my NPCs rather than kill a player too early in the roleplay. I prefer the narrative aspect, and what brings a roleplay to life for me is the player's chemistry with the NPCs, or with the other players' characters, and the interest in the plot or what happens with their own characters, not so much rolling dice and looking for epic pics to decorate my post OR WELL, I LIKE THAT PART TOO, BUT ONLY IF THE NARRATIVE OF THE FIGHT IS INTERESTING OR EMOTIONAL IN THE FIRST PLACE

Things like giving them an initial party, or at least a companion for the niggas, from whom they can get info and lore while forming a dynamic, are resources that help. At least to prevent them from dying too soon.

Nobody asked for it, but I'm saying it anyway The Adventure Role is the one where I have to polish the main plot more, but in short, it would be set in the 1950s, in the South Pole, where the niggas are a team of soldiers (Norwegians, Russians, French, etc.), who have to explore the New World, since it was discovered by Nazi research that beyond the ice there was "More World", that the earth was much larger than believed, and they have to venture out and discover the mysteries/survive.
