>Name
Billy Klein
>Hero Name
Bronze Champion
>Age
14
>Family
Descendant of Lucas and Deka.
>History
Billy was born with a legacy that many would consider overwhelming, though for him it has always felt natural. He is the great-great-grandson of the legendary Izuku Midoriya, a hero trained by All Might who defeated All For One, and of Lucas, a respected hero from the UA class of 2172. However, at home, heroism was never a burden, but an honest way to help others because it was the right thing to do.

He grew up under the care of his great-grandmother Mirumo, who spoiled him like any grandmother while telling him stories about the family heroes. For Billy, they weren't legends, but examples of what a hero should be: to help, protect, and keep going even when it's hard.
Billy decided to enroll in UA without too much hesitation. He didn't do it because of the weight of the legacy he would carry, but because, in his mind, being a hero was simply "the right thing to do." Against all odds, and to Mirumo's pride, he was accepted, taking his first real step towards the future he had always imagined.
>Appearance
He is a short boy with long, spiky black hair with green tips and large brown eyes. But his appearance is deceiving because he is well-built and muscular beneath his small frame.
>Personality
Billy is an energetic, cheerful, and genuinely good kid. He has a contagious laugh and an honesty so direct it sometimes borders on recklessness. He says what he thinks unfiltered, as he hasn't quite learned to soften his words yet; when he is rude, he almost always realizes it afterward and apologizes as soon as he can.
He trusts people too easily, believing that everyone can improve if given a chance. This quality makes him inspiring, but also naive, making him vulnerable to being deceived.

He has a huge appetite, both for pleasure and necessity. Eating well helps him regain energy and keep his quirk stable, so he is rarely seen far from a snack. He loves meat and Brazilian lemonade.
>Quirk
Energy Concentration!
He possesses a colossal amount of energy that he can concentrate and expel without harming himself. The problem is that it takes him a very long time to gather it and he consumes it quickly. He can enhance his body, heal wounds, generate heat or electricity, create energy blades and shields, as well as float and walk on air, water, or other surfaces.

>Name
Inari Mikoharu
>Hero Name
Shrine Maiden
>Age
16
>History
Inari grew up in an ancient rural shrine surrounded by forests, far from Japan's megacities and technological expansion with ChatHTP-powered Roombas. She lives with her grandmother, the last priestess of a forgotten lineage, maintaining a place that the modern world seems to have abandoned.
Since childhood, she diligently helped with the rituals and maintenance of the shrine. Her quirk awakened somewhat late, at the age of seven, manifesting silently.

Unlike many heroes, Inari doesn't want to save the world for glory. Her goal is to bring life back to her family's shrine. She believes that if she achieves fame as a hero, she will attract visitors and prevent the place from disappearing.
>Personality
Inari is quiet, reserved, and a woman of few words, observing more than she speaks, responding with short phrases and rarely expressing intense emotions in public. She is kind and polite, guided by a firm, though unexpressive, moral compass.
She feels deep respect for the spirits she summons, even villains, treating them as relics of the past rather than mere tools. Even in combat, she maintains a reverent attitude towards the fallen. Although her heroic motivation stems from a genuine desire to do what is right, she is also pragmatic: she seeks fame as a means to attract attention and preserve her grandmother's shrine.
>Appearance
Dark red eyes, black hair, wears a large red bow in her hair. She often carries a gohei, with many paper seals attached in streamers.
>Quirk
Summoning of Champions
Her quirk allows her to summon specters of deceased heroes and villains to fight for her after performing a ritual. The stronger they were in life, the more likely they are to disobey her if they wish. She is capable of creating amulets that contain the essence of said champions to use their abilities herself or pass them on to others as a limited-use good luck charm.

>Name
Nestor Grim
>Hero Name
Calamity
>Age
15
>Background
Son of Grim.

Nestor was born under a shadow too large even for a world accustomed to the excesses of genetic chance. His father was one of the most controversial and enigmatic heroes of the ninth generation of quirks, a figure who defied statistics, prejudices, and biological limits to climb into the Japanese Top 10, dragging with him rumors and theories that are still discussed today in academic circles.

But the story isn't about him. Nestor is the consequence of Grim, he is the sequel.

He was conceived in a way that neither science nor ethics fully accept. Grim, like a male seahorse, carried him within himself and gave birth to him, marking his son's life from the first second as an anomaly even among anomalies. Despite everything, Grim raised him as best he could, but his affection was always sincere.
Nestor's quirk manifested early and with brutal clarity. It wasn't just powerful, it was obscene, complex, and terrifying. Capable of reconfiguring bodies, or turning living organisms into grotesque tools, his gift was quickly cataloged as one of those cases that the theory of quirk relativity had warned about for generations: abilities so unbalanced that they challenge any moral or legal framework. Like Shigaraki in the eighth generation, Nestor didn't choose to be a breaking point… he was simply born one. The day he transformed his father into a horrendous, deformed mass with a touch is a recurring nightmare in the... even if his father also had shapeshifting abilities to fix himself, no one can take away Nestor's trauma.

>Personality
Nestor is introverted and distant, and he's in that awkward stage of adolescence where everything bothers him. He openly rejects his father's love, although deep down that affection is still there, buried under layers of resentment, confusion, and fear of disappointing him.
He is easily jealous and possessive of the few people he allows himself to get close to. He expects the worst from his peers, not out of cruelty, but out of a mix of insecurity and past experiences; for Nestor, anticipating betrayal hurts less than being surprised by it... he's the type to see demotivational posters.

Nestor can seem naive in certain social aspects, unable to read simpler intentions while clearly understanding the darker ones with disturbing clarity. He does not tolerate abuse in any form; when someone crosses that line, his response is cold, persistent, and deeply personal. He doesn't forget easily, and his idea of justice can become dangerously close to revenge.

Despite his gruff facade, Nestor is willing to help when asked; he is a very powerful ally if you manage to earn his trust.

And although he would never admit it, not even under threat, Nestor has a secret weakness... he loves Korean dramas.
>Appearance
Nestor is pale and thin, with black hair, lime green eyes, and sharp teeth. The inside of his mouth is purple and his tongue is green. He wears glasses because he has slight astigmatism, although he can temporarily cure this by using his quirk on himself; when he returns to his normal state, his body and eyes do too.

>Quirk
Grimace physique
He has an anomalous physique that he can alter in any unimaginable way, as well as alter, combine, and control external organisms by reshaping them in grotesque ways. As an ally, he is wonderful; he can heal wounds precisely or increase your strength better than any drug. As an enemy... it's better not to have him. like Mahito from JJK

>Name
Saine Kyōdoku
>Hero Name
Carrion
>Age
15
>History
Descendant of the original Nomu symbiote quirk.

From a very young age, Saine developed an almost obsessive fascination with the concept of justice. Good must be rewarded, and evil punished. Without exceptions and without excuses.
The awakening of her quirk was revealing; the first time her body transformed into a living mass capable of regenerating and shapeshifting, Saine discovered her purpose, the perfect tool to execute the punishment that, according to her logic, the world needed. Since then, she began to see herself as a kind of herald, justice personified.

Despite the terrifying potential of her quirk, Saine was instilled with a strong moral compass by her mother, who, not wanting Japan and the world to witness the horror her family's quirk was capable of inflicting again, guided her throughout her childhood and adolescence to be a good girl who wouldn't fall into darkness. Her enrollment in UA was always a given, and upon setting foot on its grounds, she was already ready to be the best hero of all.
>Personality
Saine is extremely expressive, energetic, and surprisingly adorable for someone with such a strict worldview. She smiles easily, gets excited talking about heroes or handsome guys, and has a weakness for chocolate.
She is obsessed with justice and karma, convinced that every action has a direct consequence and that it is her duty to ensure that consequence is met. She actively rejects ideas like "justice is blind" or that gray areas exist. For Saine, good and evil are clear, and whoever commits a crime under her watch deserves immediate punishment, even if it turns out to be excessive.
Her methods are often ridiculous, grandiose, and excessive, filled with monologues laden with metaphors and pop culture references, but they rarely cross the line into truly dangerous territory, partly because Saine enjoys the symbolism of punishment more than actual harm.

With allies, Saine is protective and enthusiastic, willing to enhance their abilities using her quirk as support, seeing herself as the force that elevates the righteous. With enemies, however, she becomes relentless, speaking of justice with a smile of gleaming fangs.

In Saine's own words:
"Those who commit crime under my watch will suffer the punishment of my jaws. No one stands before good while Carrion keeps vigil."
>Quirk
Symbiote
Her quirk allows her to become a powerful symbiote, with incredible physical capabilities, regeneration, shapeshifting, and a great love for chocolate! It also gives her the ability to attach to a third party and enhance their abilities (if an ally) or possess them until they are drained of energy (if an enemy). She is very weak to loud sounds and fire.

>Name
Karlen Ji-Law
>Hero Name
Grave Robber
>Age
15
>History
Karlen Ji-Law wasn't born with a great destiny or a famous last name. He didn't come from a family of heroes or an important lineage; he was an ordinary boy with a quirk that was difficult to classify.
His childhood passed without major incidents, except that his ability confused doctors and teachers alike. The ability to copy quirks tied to genetic inheritance never made him a star, but rather a strange case. During high school, he accumulated reports for absences, fights, and an apathetic attitude towards authority. He wasn't violent, he simply hated being told what to do.

The most constant figure in his life was his mother, involved in volunteer work and community activities. Karlen accompanied her reluctantly, helping at shelters and local events. Never out of idealism, but because he understood that ignoring a problem only made it worse.

He entered U.A. for a practical reason: heroes have a stable job, earn well, and his quirk was too valuable to waste. If he had been born two centuries earlier, he would have been an office worker; in the 23rd century, it made sense to be a hero.

Helping people was fine, yes, but it was still a nuisance.
Paradoxically, that lack of romanticism is what makes him reliable. When the situation gets complicated, Karlen sets aside his laziness, mentally rolls up his sleeves, and does what needs to be done. Not because he wants to be a symbol, but because someone has to handle the situation.

>Personality
Karlen appears stoic, distant, and calculating. His expression barely changes, giving the impression that everything matters a lot to him, when in reality he is quite lazy and carefree. He is particularly annoyed by loud and immature people.
When the situation is serious, he forces himself to get moving. He knows it's better to solve a problem now than to fix a disaster later. He'll save the day if necessary, albeit with a sour face and expecting to collect his government salary.

>Appearance
Karlen is a tall, thin young man with fair skin and green eyes. He has black hair with long spikes sticking out in all directions around his head like a sea urchin (coincidentally, his favorite food).
>Quirk
Inheritance copy
He can copy the quirks of the ancestors of those he touches by absorbing their genetic code, and accumulate them in an 'inventory' of up to a maximum of 4. Each time he copies a new power, the oldest quirk stored is expelled from the inventory. He can only use one at a time.

•He can copy the quirks of his relatives by touching himself, copying their abilities.
•He does the same with his enemies.

•His ancestor quirks are:
Grim Reaper: -Can re-roll the dice of enemies or allies.
-Can absorb damage an ally received last turn, reducing their HP and healing the ally. Can also do a d100 dice clash against the enemy and if won, transfers the damage to the enemy instead.

Venus de Milo: -Can use her quirk to create a special ink, which when used to draw on a person, is capable of enhancing their physical abilities.
-Can also enhance and make allied quirks temporarily evolve.

>Name
Jiji Anabell Lee
>Hero Name
Dollotron
>Age
15
>Backstory
Jiji disappeared from the world at the age of twelve.

After suffering bullying for years, she stopped attending classes, leaving the house, and feeling capable of living in the real world. The internet became her only refuge.

During that isolation, her quirk began to truly develop. She discovered she could animate inert materials as long as they took on a vaguely humanoid shape. After several failed attempts, she accidentally created a mannequin.

A figure resembling a feline magical girl: cute, confident, and expressive. Everything Jiji felt she could never be.
Through her, she lived again: she spoke with people, walked through streets, attended classes, and eventually, dreamed again.
Over time, she ceased to be a mere tool. Dollotron became a complete extension of her quirk, capable of using Doll-Maker with the same precision even at a distance, as if both were a single entity.

Entering U.A. was born from the desire to stop hiding. She doesn't want to be a perfect symbol; she just wants to be real, even if she can only do it through a doll for now.
>Personality
In her real body, Jiji is withdrawn, insecure, and very self-critical. She blames herself for giving up on bullying and for depending on Dollotron to live the life she desires. Still, she retains the desire to improve and become stronger.

As Dollotron, she projects a completely different personality: tsundere, irritable, loud, dramatic, and somewhat flirtatious. She enjoys getting attention, dressing well, and constantly changing her appearance.
This duality is not a lie, but a defense mechanism. Dollotron represents the person Jiji wishes she could be.

>Appearance
The cat mannequin has a human-like body with a cat tail. She wears a ruffled tutu, a t-shirt, stockings, and ballet slippers.

Jiji is a thin boy with long, unkempt black hair and sharp teeth.
>Quirk/Backstory
Doll-Maker
Dollotron is an artificial mannequin made of plastic, ceramic, metal, and wood. Jiji can turn any set of materials with an approximately humanoid shape into a fully functional puppet and control it with almost no distance limit.

>Name
Midori Orochi
>Hero Name
Solaris
>Age
15
>Backstory
Midori grew up far from the mega-structures of 23rd-century Japan, in rural areas. There her quirk awakened naturally, among the earth. As if Yggdrasil itself had claimed her as one of its own.
Her grandparents profoundly shaped her way of thinking. Critical of excessive corporate advancement, they taught her to respect nature and to understand that progress without conscience is not true progress. From them, she inherited the idea that the strong exist to protect.

Her entry into UA was a matter of time, although she struggles to adapt to the city.

>Personality
Confident, proud, and extremely self-assured. She loves to provoke and tease, especially guys she finds attractive, always in a playful way.

She enjoys competing and fighting because every battle is an opportunity to prove she's on top. She doesn't shy away from challenges; on the contrary, she seeks them out. However, her confidence sometimes borders on recklessness, and she can underestimate situations or enemies if she believes her brute strength will be enough.

>Appearance
She is a girl with tanned skin and a blonde mane of hair resembling flower petals. She always wears red glasses to cover her eyes if the situation requires it, and she always walks around with a smile, confident in herself.
>Quirk
Solar Flare
Midori is mostly composed of plant matter, giving her great vigor and resistance to conventional damage. She can heal most of this damage by rejoining with her roots. She has control over plants as well as their products. She can generate vine whips, talk to plants, plant herself in the ground for better support, and expel methane and other gases.
Swamp fire in short
She is capable of absorbing solar energy to enhance her abilities. When she reaches 100%, her hair catches fire, and she is capable of releasing her maximum energy through flames and heat rays.

>Name
Kensei Yumoto
>Hero Name
Screwdriver
>Age
15
>Backstory
Kensei's life never had dramatic twists or foundational tragedies. He was born into an ordinary family, in an ordinary neighborhood, with parents who worked, neighbors who greeted, and days that were too similar to each other. His quirk appeared at the expected age, and without anything spectacular.

He was never considered a prodigy. He was an average student, with occasional friends and a quiet interest in the world. His ability was complex, but not very spectacular, so he came to think that he would end up working in an office like his parents. Going to UA or any hero school sounded ridiculous.
The turning point in his worldview wasn't a great battle or a legendary villain. It was something much smaller. One ordinary day, after a minor incident in his neighborhood, Kensei saw a low-ranking hero cover a scared child with his coat while they waited for help to arrive. He didn't defeat anyone. He wasn't in the news, there was no tragic sacrifice. But the child stopped crying. And in that simple gesture, Kensei understood something that would never leave him.

Heroes don't just exist to save the world. They exist so that, when all seems lost, someone is there. Since antiquity, heroes have always existed as symbolic figures to inspire others, even in the golden age of comics over 300 years ago, with the creation of the first superheroes, in their darkest moments, humanity created those who would never abandon them. And today, those people existed, and they helped more directly than ever before, that was, to him, something impressive, something beautiful.

Without clear incentives, without external expectations, and without grand ambition, Kensei decided to apply to UA. Not because he believed he was special, but because someone had to be willing to do even the small things. And he, an ordinary guy, could do it.
>Personality
Kensei is incredibly normal, even by the standards of someone trying to be a hero. He's not arrogant or tragic, he doesn't carry a heavy past or an immense goal. He's curious, somewhat extroverted in comfortable settings, and easy to get along with, though he's rarely the center of attention. In fact, he tends to go unnoticed even when he's present.

He doesn't feel the need to prove anything. Nor does he underestimate himself; he simply sees himself as average, and he's at peace with that. Facing more flashy or powerful classmates, he doesn't feel envy, he just accepts his place.

For him, being a hero isn't about shining or defeating impossible threats. It's about being present. Doing what you can. And understanding that, sometimes, the most important thing isn't saving the world, but reminding someone that it's still worth moving forward.
>Quirk
Screws and bolts
His quirk allows him to create different types of screws of various sizes. When the screws are driven into a surface, they are capable of completely erasing the space between them, whether it's the outline or the entire object in question. There's no limit to the number of screws he can place in succession when activating his quirk, but there is a limit to the distance; they cannot be more than 3 meters apart when the quirk is activated.
He can make them protrude from his body.

The screws have different heads, and each one does something different.
Phillips head screw: Does what was described above.

Flat head screw: Generates an area of void in the space delineated by them; nothing can act or function there as it is a void of 'nothingness'.

Name
Kuronome Kōen
>Hero Name
Baphomet
>Age
29
>History
Descendant of Akko and Ryoga.

>Personality
Kuronome is carefree, lazy, and shamelessly informal. It's not uncommon to see her drinking during work hours, lounging in a chair, or ignoring administrative tasks. She detests unnecessary rigidity and believes that too much theory only creates heroes who freeze up when something goes wrong.

With her students, she is relaxed and approachable, treating them more like people than future symbols. She doesn't command respect through authority, but through experience. She never talks about her past unless strictly necessary, and she often jokes even in tense situations, giving the impression that nothing really affects her.

However, that facade completely shatters when the situation demands it. When Kuronome gets serious, her attitude changes abruptly: her voice becomes dry, her movements precise, and her gaze lethal. In combat, she acts with brutal efficiency, using Enryō as a perfect extension of her will. In that state, she makes it clear that she is not someone to be provoked, let alone underestimated.

Her favorite student is Billy.
>Appearance
Kuronome possesses a demonic Baphomet-type mutation, tall horns curving backward emerging from her head, a slender tail, and red skin along with goat legs. Despite this, her general appearance is surprisingly non-intimidating when she is relaxed. Although she usually wears little clothing.
>Quirk
Mutation, Baphomet demon.
Enryō
She is capable of summoning a familiar, a super strong werewolf enveloped in inextinguishable flames, whose size can vary from 1 meter to 4.

>Name
Sugitani Nobata
>Hero Name
Striker
>Age
38
>History
From a young age, Nobata understood that heroism is not an impulse, but a structure, planning, obedience, and perfect execution.
His hero training was as strict as it was impersonal. Prolonged training, realistic simulations, and harshly punished mistakes forged his character. During his early years as a professional, Nobata was assigned to high-risk operations and witnessed firsthand what happens when heroes act on impulse. He saw teams fall apart, civilians die, and comrades fall due to hasty decisions, made with good intentions but without a plan. These experiences cemented his absolute conviction: recklessness is as dangerous as evil.

Upon becoming a professor, he adopted a martial approach. For him, a class is not a group of students, but a platoon. Each student has a role, each action has a consequence, and each order must be executed without hesitation. His method has been criticized by other teachers, but the results speak for themselves: his students survive and save lives.

Precisely because of his stern character, the institution decided to assign Kuronome as his teaching partner, someone capable of softening his approach and reminding students that they are still young. Nobata accepts this dynamic, although he rarely admits it aloud. Deep down, he understands that balance is as important as discipline.
His favorite student is Saine because they both share similar views of absolute justice.
>Quirk
Hollow Point
She has supernatural marksmanship and throwing ability that allows her to throw any solid object at a specific point and cause the greatest possible damage, she could take down a tree with a paper airplane or kill a person with a toothpick.

She is part goat and has an extremely thick and naturally resistant skull, with a natural proficiency for walking on any surface at an angle less than 90 degrees.

Name
Sim Hae-Woo
>Age
27
>History/Personality
Sim Hae-Woo arrived in Japan from Korea in a context that deeply marked her character. In the 23rd century, Korea had become a hyper-technified corporatocratic hell of omnipresent megacorporations and cities drowned in neon, constant pollution, and a performance culture worse than what China or Japan ever became. Hae-Woo grew up and was trained in that environment, internalizing habits of chronic stress and excessive self-demand.

Her quirk, manifested early and visibly, made her a valuable resource for cleanup, rescue, and environmental remediation operations. She learned to use her coral not out of heroic vocation, but because the system demanded results. For years, she worked on reconnaissance missions, filtering toxins, purifying air in industrial zones, and operating in highly polluted aquatic environments. She was efficient. Never brilliant, never charismatic, but always functional, and that was the only thing that mattered about her.

Her transfer to UA was not the result of personal ambition, but of a technical recommendation; they needed someone with real experience in the subjects and expertise she mastered. Japan, compared to Korea, felt almost unreal... but the pressure at UA was different. Here, she had to not only meet objectives, but teach, inspire, maintain an image.

Hae-Woo is not made for this.

On a daily basis, she is a stressed, clumsy, and clearly overwhelmed teacher. She forgets papers, arrives late, gets tangled up explaining simple concepts, and often doubts herself in front of students. She lives with the constant feeling of failing, of not being up to the legendary standard of UA. She is aware of her own social and administrative incompetence, which makes her even more anxious.
>Quirk
Hae has a coral protrusion growing in place of her right eye.

This has the power to grow more of these around her body and extend it to her environment to fight (she is much faster and stronger in water, she can also breathe underwater thanks to the coral's filtration process).

She can use her coral as a form of filtration to purify liquids and air, causing the coral on her body or the coral she has generated to absorb all the toxins in question.

"I can fight, but I'm here to heal," Mirumo replies.

You argue that he should heal Yukako while she struggles to keep the area safe; her retort is "I'd rather quit than stand in front of kids! Leave us for last!"

"Me too?" asks Kin.

"YES!"

The companion says nothing more and continues firing, now providing covering fire for Nazuna, who runs into her own problems when the paper villain separates your group from you. Aurelio says he'll handle it. Meanwhile, you and the others are forced to run from a tsunami of clones until Hikimiro gets an idea.

"Sounds good," Karui says, his flames flaring up stronger.

But you couldn't.

"What?!"

You would be breaking your promise. You hold Mirumo's hands, who looks at you incredulously. With no time for a chat due to the situation, she stumbles over her words as she tries to articulate.

"I..uh, okay, now we have Eri! You can do it!"

https://youtu.be/d-Tv0XUvnRM?t=45sYou had the approval of your guardian angel. With renewed determination, you turned back to the avalanche of clones, clenching your fist with all your strength I suppose it's just one arm in this case. Energy accumulated within it, glowing with your characteristic pinkish-red hue. After training with Glimmer and hardening your body further, you had a better understanding of your quirk. Not only did you feel there was much more energy than before, but you also felt a great heat inside you when using it—you felt its power.

The ground cracked under Karui's stomp. The Shiketsu giant stood beside you, his arm charging his powerful attack alongside yours, flames accumulating on his limb which began to emit a blinding glow.

"Let's do it!" he said.

To the side, Hikimiro raised his arms. First, the small clones rose into the air, followed by the debris.

"Wait for my signal!" Hikimiro shouted before proceeding with his part: "'Technique PSI No. 50: Great Disaster!'"

Debris from everywhere rose up—the walls of the compound and other parts of the factory were added, the place being torn apart second by second. The redhead's nose started bleeding, then his eyes, then his ears, before he nearly killed himself from overexertion alone. Mirumo grabbed his shoulders and began healing him to keep him stable while lowering another nutrition cube to recover his energy.

"Don't kill yourself, you damn idiot!" the nurse shouted, a mix of anger and concern... Was that how you looked?

You shook off the doubt. Hikimiro continued his attack now that Yukako and Kin had retreated to the same space as you.

"And now, it's time to unveil..." Hikimiro gritted through his teeth: "'Technique PSI No. 55: TYPHOON!'"

https://youtu.be/tWl1ekjk2aQThe rubble columns rising like a Tsunami collide with the clones, before starting to spin at high revolutions, generating a powerful tornado, a huge blender chopping and destroying the clones by shredding them into pieces.

"Ack...f-find the boss..." Hikimiro says, forcing himself to speak; it didn't look like his attack would last more than a few seconds, yet they see it.

Amidst the cacophony of noise and visual pollution, you can notice an inconsistency: a massive mass of clones struggling to stay together. If that didn't reveal the original trying to protect itself, nothing would.

Hikimiro lowers his arms, finally giving in and fainting onto Mirumo dumbass doesn't last long. The tornado ceases, and the surviving clones along with the debris begin to fall.

You and Karui had a target: that huge accumulation of clones. Yukako makes a gesture with her hand, and a portal appears before you.

"CROSS!" she shouts at you.

The two synchronize, stepping forward and jumping through the portal; you feel your body stretch +1cm as you pass through, now standing right in front of the pile of clones.
They clench their fists tighter, aiming them at the enemy in an uppercut.

"SMASH"

Their fists meet, culminating in another portal that serves to amplify even further the power of their combined attack.
The explosion is something you've never seen, something you couldn't have imagined before.
Both energies acting in sync and merging as one, breaking through the rows of clones like a single uniform strike, the power so great it cuts through, rising high into the sky, splitting the clouds like a divine feat.
Its shockwave also causes an explosion that sends more debris and part of the arena flying; if Bruce had tried to escape like at the beginning, he would have had it very easy given the state of the place...

Then you feel it: the painful, familiar recoil. It feels like a stab, a painful stab in every millimeter of your arm tearing from the inside out before the nerves shut down to prevent the burning pain from clouding your mind any longer.

You and Karui are left hanging in the air, the pain making you curl up in place. Karui grabs your other arm; having exhausted her energy, she's now smaller, though not dwarfed or emaciated yet.

"I got you."

Another portal opens behind you, and Kin pokes out, pulling you both back to the ground.

"Phew...that was amazing!" he says.

"Yeah..." Yukako continues, kneeling on the ground and covering her injured eye with a hand. Not only were her wounds visible, she looked incredibly exhausted. "I think that was the portal with the highest amplification I've ever made...they put it to good use."

The clones fall from the sky, vanishing in small bursts of light, accompanied by ash and dust from Nazuna's fight...but there was no trace of Bruce.
...

The two groups reunite near the hallway exit and what little remained of the facility.

https://youtu.be/Cc_43zslKfgSmoke, dust, and ash covered everything as the last remnants of the factory finished collapsing.

Mirumo didn't stay still; she gathered Chibiro and Hikimiro to stabilize them without losing a second.

Yukako breathed with difficulty while looking around. "Stay together," she ordered.

Aurelio stood in the center, expanding his aura to defend. Ukyo loaded her remaining arrows, listening for any disturbance that might reveal the enemy. Kin continued covering the surroundings with his arm-cannon ready.

Then Karui pointed upward, noticing the difference. "...Look."

Amidst the falling ash descended a small group of huddled clones. Just a few figures slowly descending, supported by large blackened paper wings.

In the center was Bruce; beneath him was Kirila.
The villainess could barely stand. Much of her outfit had vanished under burns caused by Nazuna's magma; her skin was blackened in several spots, and one arm wouldn't respond. She breathed heavily, using every last drop of her Quirk to create those paper platforms that cushioned the descent of both.

The clones touched the ground one by one.

Pop.

One disappeared, and so did the rest, one after another.

Their bodies dissolved into small flashes of light as cracks ran through their shields and destroyed armor, unable to hold on anymore. The shields flickered out, and pieces of armor fell to the ground.

Finally, only one remained: the real Bruce. His helmet cracked open like a nut and fell to his side, following him as he hit the ground and dropped to his knees. His body still glowed red; his veins were dilated and marked with black beneath the skin. He breathed rapidly.

Kirila took a staggering step toward him, dragging one leg.

"B-boss..." Her voice was hoarse, barely a whisper. "We can still escape..." Each word hurt. "...They're exhausted...we just have to leave...I'll take you as far as I can."

"You don't have luck on your side," Yukako said, standing firm. "Surrender before making this longer."

"Please..." Kirila whispered.

Bruce lifted his head, looking at his partner for a few seconds. His expression was empty.

"And who are you?"

Kirila blinked, her face bewildered.

"...Huh...? Boss..." She tried to smile, trying even though it hurt, thinking it was a joke. "It's me...Kirila..." She approached the boss, holding his hand. "We've been together since...since the beginning, please—"
She couldn't finish the sentence. Bruce tilted his head slightly before responding, as if trying to recall her face, but there was no result.

"I don't know you."

The paper still floating around Kirila began to disintegrate. "It's me... I always--"

Bruce didn't bother looking at her. His hand searched through the shredded remains of his suit and pulled out a small combat knife.

"Bruce... please."

Without changing his expression or showing any hesitation, the leader stood up and drove the knife into Kirila's stomach.

https://youtu.be/XQUIROg7Uo8The woman with lilac hair opened her eyes wide; air left her lungs in a stifled gasp.

Bruce yanked the blade out in one swift motion. "Stop bothering me now..." He paused, thinking, "What was I doing?..."

Kirila stumbled back by inertia, bringing her skilled hand to her wound. Her body trembled, refusing to process what had just happened. Her lips moved, trying to form some words, but no sound came out before she collapsed to the floor.

"Shit... we have to help her!" Ukyo shouted.

From a portal, Yukako extended her hand, grabbed the woman by her clothes, and pulled her through the portal along with them.

"What are you doing?" Karui asked.

Yukako didn't answer directly. "Nurse, stabilize her," she ordered. "No one dies on my watch."

Mirumo nodded without complaint and immediately began attending to Kirila as fast as possible.

Then Yukako looked ahead where Bruce stood, frowning. "Kin, shoot him."

Rigid as a statue and aiming at the Yakuza boss, Kin nodded and fired at Bruce, who seemed lost in thought.

But before the bullet could hit him, a dozen clones manifested in front, serving as a human shield.

"Oh yeah... I was." Black bile dripped from Bruce's nose; his pupils were different sizes. "I was killing pests."

New silhouettes began sprouting from his body. In just one second, he was surrounded again by copies of himself. But something was different.

The first few clones could barely stand. They walked stumbling or collided with each other. Several tried to run and ended up falling to the ground. Their movements were slow and clumsy; some couldn't even raise their arms to form fists. Yet they kept multiplying.

The numbers increased relentlessly. Kin tried to lay down covering fire, but the clones moved like an avalanche, compensating for the obvious degradation of each copy with sheer quantity.

"He's losing control," Yukako said, observing the erratic and uncoordinated behavior of the clones. "He can barely stay stable."

"I don't think he has much time left," Kin said coldly. "Look at their eyes. If we don't defeat him, those drugs will kill him first."

"His brain is made pure, I doubt he remembers why he's fighting in the first place" Says Aurelio

The battle was still not over...but it was evident that Bruce was no longer fighting to win, the reason for his actions had already become a haze in his subconscious and he was only acting out of mere habit.

"Bueno..." Karui clenched his knuckles "There will be many, but it's still just one subject. We can handle him"

"Save the motivation, we just have to knock him out before he kills himself" Says Aurelio "Although it would do the world a great favor if the second thing happened"

"It won't happen" Yukako raised her voice "Every villain is captured alive for interrogation and to answer for their crimes, we are going to defeat him"

The clones finally closed the distance, without any more exaggerated and grandiose attacks, the final clash seemed much more contained and personal, a brawl hand to hand.

>Gwendoline
Instead of being intimidated by hearing such famous names, she stands her ground and offers to bring them. In response the ghost clenchs her teeth and turns away her face.

"¡I don't need Marietta to come! She's surely very busy... It would be very rude of me to bother... It's not like I'm the center of the universe..."

With each word said, her voice gets quieter, until the last word is barely the flutter of a mosquito. The specter's expression remains furrowed in a resigned grimace, as if she knows everything has ended. When the director's voice starts to sound more kind, Gwen turns her face, squints her eyes and locks her gaze, almost as if she wants to know what color the woman's insides are.

"I promise... ¡Ha! Promises are empty words. Everyone makes and breaks them for convenience. Admit it already, you're using your position of power to coerce me. The faster you say it, the clearer things will be between you and me"

She raises her voice and speaks as if lies were an old friend of hers, this time she doesn't hide it.

"The truth is ugly, dirty, ¡nobody likes it! But very well, I'll give it to you. The only thing I ask is that you stop with that nonsense of wanting to help me... And also... ¡Get them out of here! I don't want men looking... At what I am..."

Gwen doesn't look at anyone in particular, it's obvious she's referring to those present in the office.

if you are reading this, it is already too late to regret it

a new villain academy rises on an artificial island at point nemo, the furthest place from earth

here lies Candystopia Academy, a villain academy made entirely of sweets and treats

who else could be behind this than its director and founder? none other than Catherine Sugarcoat, the villain also known as Lady Diabetes, solely responsible for an increase in childhood obesity and diabetes, entire governments have bowed before her endless cakes and candies.

now it is your turn to become a great villain too, and who knows? maybe help the director with her plan to crush the Alls' country with a giant pie someday

You have 2 base points and 10 points to distribute

Strength:
increases the faces of your damage multiplier die

Defense:
determines your HP

HP = Defense x10 +100

Agility:
Determines how many times you can attack per turn, one attack per point.

Combat System:
you attack as many times as your agility. For each attack you roll 1d20 for damage, a multiplier die with as many faces as strength points you have, and 1d2 for accuracy. If the accuracy die rolls 1, the attack misses, if it rolls 2 it hits. The damage is the result of your damage die multiplied by the multiplier.

for example, a character with 4 strength and 3 agility would roll:

1d20 = 19 1d4 = 2 1d2 = 1

1d20 = 4 1d4 = 2 1d2 = 2

1d20 = 11 1d4 = 4 1d2 = 2

you can combine the faces of your damage and multiplier dice to roll more powerful attacks, but you risk missing the attack. For example, the previous character could roll:

1d60 = 2 1d12 = 5 1d2 = 2

you can also pay with one of your attacks for another to hit guaranteed, but you can only do this with a single attack per turn, and if the attack is the sum of several, you must pay the same number of attacks you used to make it. For example, a character with 8 agility and 2 strength could do this:

1d80 = 60 1d8 = 7, guaranteed hit.

>Shall I show them to you?

"No thanks, if I wanted to see rotten teeth I'd go visit my grandma. Now come here, damn it--BITCH"

https://youtu.be/ZFsd1XQWvzIThe zombie uses her own head as a projectile and breaks his whole face, making him fall and roll on the ice floor until he's in a comically characteristic pose.

"Ugh... did you get his license plate?..."

His limbs are at weird angles and his tentacles grope the floor for support, until the brunette frees herself and talks to him, making him regain all his strength to automatically get up.

"Psst, punching bag?, looks like you don't know strategy, sweetie, didn't you hear the tank tactic? If you take all the hits, your opponent will eventually get tired and victory will be yours, I saw it on The Simpsons."

The zombie smelled bad, what a surprise, a dead person smelled dead.

"Sniff sniff Oh damn, it's true, can't you use deodorant or something, little dead girl?"

Anyway, there were things to do, places to go, and the black girl now had a weapon, very true to her skin color.

"Hey, hey, wait a minute! Shit, why don't we go where we need to go first and then kill ourselves? Besides, she's already dead, I don't think you can kill her twice, you know? You can dismember her later and it's..."

As she speaks, she extends an appendage to lower the brunette's weapon.

"Also, I don't think the diabetes villain would like dead bodies in her yard, let's save our necks and not act like children, does anyone object to staying alive everyone?" She asks, "I'm Leroy, by the way, and you, little lump of brown sugar?"

Hinata is alive, and in Mount Fuji. Gwen sighs, it's unclear whether it's from longing or disappointment. Almost immediately she starts drifting spectrally around the area. The trucks appear, and the villains parade inside of them, but the ghost doesn't even notice them. Her gaze seems incapable of staying still, until it lands on Alpyr and the fish woman.

"Ugh!" She complains audibly at the same time as she pinches her nose. "What is that smell...? It's like a port! Wait, I think I know where it's coming from... Let me get to the wind side."

It's obvious to anyone that she's being intentionally and sneakily rude. To make it even clearer that she's paying the price for Svetlana, she crosses her arms and puffs out her cheeks, and looks at her group as if they owed her money. Soon Gwen explodes.

"And that's it? Is that all? After everything I suffered for you, do you have no praises for me?!" She turns her face and clenches her teeth. "Not even a question...? Like, 'How are you?' or 'How did you manage to handle that powerful villain on your own'?" "Because of attitudes like that, I feel like telling everyone that they should die!"

Or whatever, the truth is that the succubus sighed as people came and went trying to keep them.

She obviously refused any doctor's touch, as by that point she was just tired

Walking to be with Amelia, since the others she vaguely knew were busy with their own things and she couldn't be bothered.

-Amelia-

"I don't know if I should sleep or go eat something"

-Hanan-

"I could eat something, but I also feel like if I touch a bed I'll fall asleep until next week"

She followed Amelia to the car, quickly sitting in the corner and letting Amelia sit next to her to avoid any contact with the others who were there too.

-Alpyr-

"Let the new girl pay"

-Hanan-

"Me what?"

-Alpyr-

"By the way, what class are you in?"

-Hanan-

"Uhhh... I think I was going to be... I think they were going to put me in one of the main classes... uhhh... but I don't know if it was A or B..."

The tiredness wasn't letting the information get to her head, obviously they would have told her at some point which class she was going to go to when the internships ended since she had to end up somewhere.

But after thinking for a while she looked at Amelia, taking out her phone and seeing that it was a bit wet.

"Shit"

She shook it a bit and turned it on, luckily it didn't look damaged, she finally got Amelia's attention and asked

"Should we take a picture so the others know we're alive?"

He carefully unfolded it to read it, then shouted, using all the air in his lungs, towards the camera

"AND WE HAVE A WINNER, A LUCKY CLASS FROM UA SCHOOL, HAS WON AN ALL-PAID TRIP TO MASAYOSHI ISLAND, A TOURIST CENTER AND VACATION RESORT ABOUT TO BE OPENED, AND THE CURRENT HEADQUARTERS OF THE JAPAN PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION"

When Amelia becomes one of the victims of the prank on Claire, the one responsible for soaking her favorite clothes speaks up.

<Sorry...

But in her anger, Amelia ignores him, and even insults him, triggering a speech while being pointed at by the idiot.

"Don't... point... at me..." -he mutters-

<Fine! Yeah, I'm an idiot, a hopeless fool!

(Yes.)

<But I'm also your partner...

(Sadly UA doesn't offer classes from home...)

<The truth is, you're not exactly the best person in the world either

(No, I'm bottom-of-the-barrel trash too, so what?)

<antisocial, weird, suicidal, hurtful, and sometimes downright cruel.

(Did you catch the suicidal part?)

(Meh... not an inaccurate picture.)

<You can hate me, call me whatever you want—I don't care, go ahead and vent if it makes you feel better.

"Asshole."

(Meh... insults aren't that big a deal... not worth dwelling on.)

<But you know what? I love you, Ame-chan!

"What?" -she asks, showing no expression on her face... but feeling confused inside-

<I love you because you're my partner, and I care about you.

"I don't think 'love' is the right word for that sentence."

<You matter to me, Ame-chan, and look where we are—stuck together on this trip...

(It's true... remembering that annoys me.)

<You can reject me all you want

(So... you're serious about loving me...? What a shame.)

<but I'll keep inviting you and dragging you places anyway, just like Claire does

(Did it ever occur to you that maybe I want to do something on my own? That I'm not just a robot you can drag around everywhere? I have my own goal, you know.)

<And you know why? Because you matter to us, Amelia.

(mental sigh I have no idea why out of all the students, I'm the one who 'matters'...)

<Sorry, was that too dramatic?

sigh "You're completely mistaken." -she says, out of nowhere- "I don't know if you were serious, but I'll be direct: you don't love me. You don't know me—nobody does. I don't have friends, and I don't want any. You're just another classmate I'm forced to interact with, like everyone else. If I hate you less, it's only because you're one of the lesser evils... That's all. If you're attracted to me, it's only because of how I look... which would just make you a creepy pervert, since I don't even have a body..." -Amelia... simply hadn't developed at all. Not even a little-
She talked too much, so she just stopped.

"What I mean is: I don't love you, I don't like anyone. I'll live and die alone..." -a brief pause, but she continues- "in short: no."

He took it as a love confession. Amelia doesn't like love.

She didn't hate Gaspar more after that... but she didn't hate him any less either.

<Don't bother Ame-chan, or she'll strike back.

That was true—now the blonde was already plotting a painful revenge over something as small as getting mocked and nearly splashed by that woman.

<We were just having fun, like kids. What's wrong with that?

(How annoying.)

They throw Aneko into the pool maybe soaking Amelia again, maybe not which was somewhat funny... not funny enough for Amelia to even smile, but still somewhat funny.

(The fall of the pool queen... destroyed by her own kingdom. An interesting tale.)

<Two in a row, one more for a hat trick!

"Don't even think about it, creep." -she said, trying to avoid being next-

<By the way, you're from another class, right? What's your name?

(She already said that...) or did she? The timeline has been destroyed
>>26433
A while later, after drying off the flea, Gapoo once again puts his hand on her shoulder, making the girl shiver before she swats it away.

"Don't touch me."

<Better take a step back, okay?

Sigh "Good idea..."

Amelia turns and walks away from the group at the pool, the towel draped over her shoulders like a cape. Her goal was to use this moment to slip away unnoticed and head to the hotel, to talk to the teacher who hopefully was still in her room since she probably has no life.

(Maybe she's still there... it'd be really bad luck if she actually went to the bar like that mole servant said...)

And so Smurfette escaped... or maybe not. She was just walking normally; it'd be easy to stop her if someone wanted to.

>After Gapoo tackled Claire into the pool, both students managed to get out, only to find themselves facing another pair of students, one of them displaying a rather unpleasant attitude.
>Claire glanced at the book the guy was carrying—unfortunately, it wasn't a Bible, but "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu.
>The girl named Aneko showed an increasingly hostile attitude; as soon as Claire joined the conversation, the clash of personalities only heightened the tension in the air.

"Are you sure, sweetie? What kind of good students go around assaulting people with water?" The more the conversation progressed, the worse it got. "Censor me, you say? Is that a threat? From what I see, you're just a spoiled little daddy's princess. I'd love to see you get your hands dirty—if you've got the guts to do it."

>"And aren't you misjudging our teachers?"

"All adults are the same. They only care about getting their paycheck so they can waste their money on stupid things, like betting on pool or wrecking their kidneys."

>When Amelia started complaining about her class in general, the intention flew completely over Claire's head—she misunderstood and thought they were referring to another class.

"What did you hear the brown guy say when he showed us this place? We already live here, stupid..." Claire walked away, no longer willing to listen to the conversation.

>And then Amelia's previous turn happens kek
>After Feng scared Aneko off, she went to complain to her brother for having been left there like a soggy lettuce without intervening. That's when Gapoo climbed out of the pool at this point I've already given up on organizing the timeline and started talking to them.

"Leave me out of your fights, I just came here to read," the boy replied.

"Shut up," her sister snapped at him. "Who the hell do you think you are, speaking to me without me addressing you first?" Aneko pointed her finger at Gapoo, until suddenly the sailor grabbed her by the waist and repeated the dunking maneuver. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? LET GO OF ME!" She began screaming and kicking.

>Gapoo and Aneko fell into the pool again, just like earlier with Claire.

"LET GO OF ME!" She didn't stop screaming and kicking, now lightly punching Gapoo with her fists. "LET GO OF ME, FREAK, STATUE-FACED JERK!"

>Once he pulled her back out, she scrambled as far away from Gapoo as possible and took shelter close to her brother, arms crossed tightly over her chest.

"D-do something, you idiot!"

"I'm almost done with my book. Wait a minute."
"That's it, you're the worst!" She retreated inside the hotel. Clearly, those siblings had a very healthy relationship.

"Answering your question," the brother said to Gapoo, "No, we're not part of any class. We live here."

>Shortly after, Claire returned to the pool, now wearing her swimsuit. Gapoo tackled her into the water again.
>Meanwhile, Amelia left the pool area.

https://youtu.be/vbWAxSJ_EEg>The elevator doors opened, and then—moving at incredible speed—something dashed past you, causing you to spin around like a cartoon character. You could hear a small laugh coming from Aneko.
>Your spinning finally stopped, leaving you slightly nauseous. You looked toward the cause—easily recognizable anywhere. It was Japako, visibly agitated. She swung her head from side to side, her snakes doing the same, as if searching for something. Also... was she sniffing the air?

"Seiken?! Seiken?!" She didn't even seem to notice you. Receiving no response, she continued running until she disappeared from sight. Looks like she wouldn't be joining you to get that souvenir anytime soon.

"Uhhh, that's your teacher, right? You haven't even been here two hours and someone's already gone missing. Real professional standards at UA, I see." She quickly returned to her annoying attitude. "You gonna keep soaking people around here or what?" Didn't seem like she'd shut up anytime soon.

>After all the small commotion at the pool implying ended, the annoying girl's brother closed his book and stood up from his chair.

"Hey you, come here. I'd like to have a word with you." Having stayed out of things during the earlier incident, what could he possibly want to talk to you about now?

>Out of mere curiosity or because of my damn balls, you approached him.

"Simply put, what you did to my sister a moment ago didn't sit well with me." It showed—he was clearly annoyed, despite nothing actually happening at that moment. "So I'd like to settle this in a way that doesn't get either of us in trouble." Trouble? "On your way here, did you hear about the training area they have?" He doubted a simple fight would be beyond a UA student's capabilities. If he wanted to resolve such a trivial matter with fists, he was either very proud and confident—or just plain stupid. "Though you can go change first if you want."

>First day, and you already had a cordial invitation to get your face smashed in. You could try to run away, but who knows what would happen if you did. Would you accept his proposal?

Several days had passed since the festival, since you were transferred to the Hero Course and Class A, and also since that incident with Sarah and Abel.

Just as you’d imagined, you hadn’t received any offers from any hero agencies; if it weren’t for LockPick, you would have been stuck, or you would have had to rely on the UA itself to take pity on you and find you an agency. When the time came, you picked up the phone and accepted the offer; the day was already set.

This was the opportunity you needed, and you weren’t going to waste it. At dawn, you took the train to leave Shizuoka Prefecture, where the UA was located, and head to neighboring Aichi. Your destination was the capital, Nagoya. The day before, you’d picked up your hero suit at the UA—this was the perfect chance to break it in.

The trip went smoothly, though once you got off and started walking toward the location, you realized something: this didn’t seem like a very safe part of the city.
The further you walked, the worse it got—there was more trash, the buildings were starting to look run-down, and there were suspicious-looking people hanging around. At least the day was nice, with a blue sky and few clouds… though they said it would get cloudy later.

After a while, you arrived at the place: a small three-story office building, sandwiched between two other large buildings. The place looked neglected; however, it had a sign with the address marked on it, next to a sun-faded LockPick poster stuck to the door, and next to that was another poster that read “nail salon.” Now that you remembered, the address specified “2nd floor.”
Next to the door was a panel with buttons to call different floors.

Waiting by the door, you see that there’s also a girl there. She had two-toned hair—black and white—and was wearing the uniform of a school you didn’t recognize: a gray shirt and a brown skirt. In addition to a backpack, she was also carrying a purse. She was tapping her foot impatiently while checking the time on her... pocket watch? It was quite old-fashioned, it must be said.

https://youtu.be/k8PjJ7UuxEk"Huh?" She notices you as you approach—inevitably, you weren’t going to just stand there waiting in the middle of the street. "Hi... Heroic Internships?"

Were you that easy to read? Was it because of the uniform?implying, or because of the limited number of reasons someone would come to this place at this hour? Maybe it was because you were more covered up than an Islamic woman, and she recognized you from TV after putting two and two together.
A buzzing sound is heard; the door’s magnetic mechanism gives way and lets them through.

"Finally! I’ve been waiting two minutes and 32 seconds," she mutters to herself, and they can enter.

The door opened onto a short hallway; at the end of it was an elevator, and to one side were double doors with large windows—the aforementioned "nail salon." But the elevator, which was just what you needed, was a bit small—just enough so that you and the girl were uncomfortably close to each other, yet without invading each other’s personal space.

They press the button for the second floor; the elevator creaks, but despite moving at a good pace, you can tell it’s straining and that its gears are about to give out.
The elevator stops and opens onto a small lobby; to the right was the janitor’s closet, and straight ahead was the famed “Heroic Agency: LockPick.” You can hear an argument going on inside.

The girl looks at you hesitantly before taking a step forward and ringing the bell.

“Come in, it’s open!” It was Lock Pick’s voice.

You step inside and there you see the hero arguing with a petite woman in glasses and office attire.

“Oh no, Ganosuke, you’re not going to dodge this conversation!” the woman complains. “We’re falling apart, we have no one, we need fresh blood.”

The hero runs his hand over his face, annoyed by her attitude.

“UA or no UA, bringing in a girl who got beaten up in the first round isn’t the marketing move that’s going to get us out of this mess.”

Ganosuke sighs. “Are you done?”

“Huh?” The woman finally notices your presence and that of the other girl. “Oh.”

“Are we interrupting something?” the girl asks, raising an eyebrow.

“Nothing, we’re done.”

"..." The woman falls silent, looking embarrassed.

Ganosuke points at you and then at the girl. "Tanaka Hanan, this is Amelia Owens." Now he points at the girl and then at you. "Amelia Owens, this is Tanaka Hanan."

“That explains the conservative outfit—I saw you on TV,” Amelia remarks. “Nice to meet you. I’m from Ketsubutsu Academy; it’s over in Fukushima.”

Ganosuke: "You’ve already met my assistant; she’s Ena."

"‘Classmate,’" Ena corrects him. "And… um, sorry for what I said earlier, kid," she apologizes to you.

...

"For lack of a better introduction, welcome to our humble agency," says Ganosuke with a sarcastic tone.

The room looked like a break room; there was an armchair, a table with plastic chairs, a breakfast bar next to a cupboard, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, etc.

"The bathrooms are on the left, the dressing rooms are in the back, and the office is on the right," he points out and explains. "If you have any questions, save them for now. First, go change, then I’ll explain how things will work."

It had been several days since the sports festival ended, and boy did you notice it—winning first place had its perks. You’d received hundreds, hundreds of offers! from multiple agencies that wanted you on their team; everyone wanted your image and was looking to capitalize on your potential.

With so many options, it was a bit difficult to decide; fortunately, your trusted teachers were there to help you and filter out the bad options from the good ones.

In the end, they had opted for something that, in Cornelia’s own words, “is a friend of mine; it will suit your style.”

You looked into the Red String agency, owned by the heroine of the same name, and were surprised—you didn’t think there was any hero with more attention-seeking tendencies and behavioral issues than Cornelia, but here was this peculiar individual, who was quite famous for getting beaten up time and time again by villains, and yet always emerged victorious despite ultimately being known as a complete nutcase, immature, and openly a danger to the public and society...Was Cornelia perhaps trying to tell you that you were autistic in some subtle way?

This little trip didn’t take you long; you took the train from UA City to the area near the coast. The sea breeze was strong and the weather was humid; there were several clouds in the sky, and it looked like it would get even grayer in the afternoon.
With your hero suit packed and ready to be put on, you walk through the streets for a while until you reach the place. If it weren’t for the signs, banners, and other advertising, the building would pass for just any office building.

You entered the lobby, where a receptionist greeted you and announced your arrival. Five seconds later, you heard a very faint poof.

“Just in time, girl.” You turn around and see a guy? A redhead. Before you can say anything, he grabs your shoulder, and before you know it—

poof

You’re somewhere else. Teleportation? You’re left with a sour taste in your mouth.

"Welcome, Gaya-san," the redhead says. Now that you can see him clearly, he looks somewhat familiar... he had been commenting on the tournament alongside Shimosuke, and as far as you recall, he was a woman. "Make yourself at home."

https://youtu.be/VLTTNzkjWhsYou see absolute chaos; you see a few people at a row of desks talking heatedly on the phone.

"Your son will be fine, sir, just take him to therapy. / Well, maybe you shouldn’t have parked your car in a spot so easy to wreck! / No one got hurt—what’s a little 20 million in collateral damage? /If you have any complaints, please refer to our email complaint box/No, you’re the incompetent one, Steve!"

It looked like Wall Street stockbrokers in the ’80s, the way they talked so much and rushed from call to call.

"I'm Ayumi Ryushi, Particle to the villains. Follow me, I'll take you to the boss." She leads the way to the back of the room. "All of those are our interns; they handle all the boring paperwork."

The level of professionalism was surprising. They walk through a door into another room.

"Why did you drink my juice? It had my name on it!" one shouts.

"I was thirsty!" another replies.

You see two guys arguing, and they look like they’re about to come to blows; they butt heads like bulls.

“Calm down, it’s just some stupid juice!”

“Easy for you to say—it wasn’t your juice!” A third person tries to interrupt the fight.

This other room looked like a crossroads; there were two hallways on either side, and in front, a door with a plaque that read "Supreme Overlord Boss: Red String." Half the text was written in permanent marker on the glass of the door—it didn’t all fit on the plaque.

"Hey, hey, you two, go fight outside—you’re going to stain the carpet again!"

Ayumi scolds them. With a flick of her fingers, two small purple lights, like fireflies, appear next to the two of them, and when she touches them, they vanish. She shakes her hands, satisfied with her work

"Don’t worry, I just sent them up to the ceiling to sort out their problem. Over there on the right is our little gym and showers, and also a staircase to the upper floor where the dorms are; on the left we have the kitchen and the living room," she explains. "And here’s our destination."

She steps forward and opens the door. “Hey, boss, I brought your other intern!”

It was an ordinary office…except that it was a total mess, with piles and piles of papers stacked up to the ceiling, covered in dust, with bullet holes in the walls, knives stuck in the ceiling, and a dartboard with darts stuck all around the bullseye.

"Wiiii~~"

The woman was kneeling on the chair, spinning around like a little girl, then she stops and takes a leap, does three flips in the air, and lands in front of you.
She had two long braids, blood-red eyes, glasses, and a tongue so long it hung out of her mouth. She looked quite young despite theoretically being in her 30s like Cornelia; she seemed more like she was in her early 20s.

"Welcome, champ! Come on, sit down. Cornelia already told me all about you, you little minx."

She pulls out a chair for you to sit in, while she places a hand on her desk and pushes herself up onto it, knocking over a pile of papers, a cup containing some strange liquid, and an acrylic figurine of Cornelia that looked like it had been glued back together hundreds of times before breaking again right at that moment.

"Red String at your service." She pointed at herself with her thumb like the owner of the internet café and rested her feet on the desk. "But you can call me Jacky, with a 'y.' We’re on a first-name basis here, you know? I’m here to show you the way and you’re here to learn, so we have to trust each other—trust me like you’d trust a one-eyed woman, okay?” She talked a lot; she didn’t let you t

"You've already met Ayumi," Jacky continues. Ayumi is standing in the doorway and waves. "She's my second-in-command, my peanut butter to my jelly, my french fries to my Coke. Trust her as much as you trust me."

...

"You got here on time, but your partner here arrived two hours early. The weirdo—or weirdo, I’m not sure—was already waiting when we came to open up."

Who? Just by glancing to your side, you see there was someone else sitting there. Jacky was so eccentric that she stole all the attention.

“Hello.”

You couldn’t tell if it was a boy or a girl at first glance; they had waited for you to notice their presence before speaking. They had red eyes and white hair, a slender build, and you could see scar tissue on their throat and wrists. They were wearing a school uniform with a blue jacket and a beige skirt.

"I’m Motomu, Motomu Himura. I’m from Isamu School."

Isamu… you weren’t very familiar with the other hero schools, but you thought you’d heard something about Isamu from your senpais. If UA was the best school of all… Isamu was the worst. With no budget or proper equipment, rock-bottom grade averages, and a reputation as a dumping ground for troublemakers, it was full of delinquents and terrible students, producing so few heroes that people no longer considered it a hero school.

"I saw you on TV, I'm a fan of yours, I was on the edge of my seat watching the battles. I think you did great—the way you completely changed the script after barely qualifying to end up in first place, it was like something out of an anime, hehehe."

His voice was dry and raspy; he needed to drink some water.
