Zafiro

>Why did you decide to join?
"Umm, I guess because I couldn't think of anything else. My mother was a devil hunter. In Czechoslovakia. I don't even remember who she worked for. But anyway, before coming to Japan, we lived near some industrial zones. You know, state surveillance, Czechoslovak secret police, censorship, all that bullsh*t of communist propaganda... poverty, paranoia, disappearances, and... alcoholism and... all that stuff. The usual.
I thought every place would be like that, but Japan is different. I guess Eastern Europe was just... complicated. I remember that in winter the heating would fail a lot. And demons appeared more often during blackouts. Maybe people were afraid of being left alone, or something. I already lost track...
I don't know, one day an incident happened. A big demon. A lot of people died. I don't even remember which one. But Japan was recruiting hunters. My mother accepted and somehow we ended up here. I think she'd already been here before, I'm not sure. She said demons here were worse... but at least the system was better and we'd live better. She died two years later.
---
What was I talking about? Ah, right. But anyway. I've lived longer here than there. I already knew how to use weapons. I already had experience with demons. And apparently I have good psychological tolerance, or so they said. I guess that was enough for them to accept me. I joined because I didn't know how to do anything better, I suppose.
Hm? You say I went off on a tangent? Then what was the question again? Kurva, what's the point of recording an interview if you just wanted a quick answer? Just forget it, whatever."

>Demon you have a contract with

<Demon of Paranoia
Born from the psychological terror of war, the fear of invisible ambushes and not knowing who the enemy is in the jungle.

Pros: Grants an infallible "sixth sense" to detect murderous intent, hidden traps, and the presence of demons within a wide radius. In combat, can temporarily alter enemies' perception, causing them to hallucinate and attack each other.

Cons: Requires a high psychological price. Outside of combat, the user suffers constant hallucinations and such a severe state of alertness that they can't clearly distinguish real danger from imagined threats, deteriorating their sanity.

(I was thinking about this one, but if it's strictly necessary to pick one from the list or this one isn't suitable, then I choose the previous one, which I also liked a lot)
<Demon of Agony
Born from the fear of anguish and despair caused by physical and/or mental suffering at the brink of death.

Pros: When dealing damage, its katanas cause an excessive amplification of the opponent's pain receptors, inducing overwhelming stress and panic that push them into an agonizing state, making even minor wounds unbearable, serious injuries difficult to process, or leading to incapacitating mental and psychological breakdowns. After wounding someone, the agony becomes a temporarily trackable mark. By sacrificing herself, she can inflict physical damage upon herself that is instantly replicated and amplified onto the nearest enemy within a short radius.

Cons: Visible mark. Requires the significant loss of emotional connection, and the senses of taste and smell. Eating causes a moderate degree of pain. Partially suffers the agony she inflicts on her enemies with her katanas; if prolonged, she may suffer delirium.
