''A music starts playing, waking you up. It sounds familiar, but you can't remember the name, and you don't remember setting it as an alarm. You open your eyes, and a blinding light dazzles you, but you quickly adjust.
You wake up in a completely white room, ceiling, walls, and floor, devoid of windows. You only see one exit from which a powerful white light emanates. The room isn't large; it's medium-sized. It would only take you 10 steps to leave it.''
Attention, attention!!! Good morning to all present, whether there are two, three, or however many people are here today. Perhaps you're just a poor soul chosen at random, and it's chance we'll be testing here.
You hear a voice, but you don't know where it's coming from. You look around for a speaker or a sound system, but there's nothing in the room. The music stopped abruptly when the person started speaking.
This is a recording, so I won't be able to hear your complaints or laments. You have exactly 3 hours to decide whether to take the risk or not. During these 3 hours, you will be observed and monitored. If someone dies, they will simply be replaced, and it will be someone's duty to explain what is happening to the new members. If no one remains, the recording will just play again.
A cold sweat begins to run down your neck. The mere mention of the risk of death puts you on alert. You still don't know what the hell is going on or what this place is. You're about to protest, but the voice resonates once more.
This is the 10-step game. As you can deduce, the exit is only 10 steps away from the wall you're currently at. But it's not that easy to leave. Freedom is something all human beings have, and many waste it.
Some believe they are in control of their destiny; others don't believe in the existence of chance... today we will test this. In your right pocket, you can find a d100 die, and in your left, a d10. You need both dice to reach the end.
Now I will explain the 10 steps.
From 10 to 5: roll your d100, if it's 50 or below, you take a step, if it's over 50, you die
When you reach step 5 it's the same but with the d10
You can roll a saving throw, but it has to be another die, Not yours and only the die corresponding to the turn, good luck finding another one.
If you reach the door, congratulations! you've beaten chance, and fate wanted you to live, as a bonus, you can choose to leave or roll your d100 one last time, but you'd be risking it.
If it's 50 or above, you can kill one or more people, this is in case you are here with family or friends and want to see them survive with you, but if it's 50 or below, you die and waste your chance to escape.
Without further ado, Let the game begin, I wish you good luck.
The voice suddenly cuts off, there's no background music, just absolute silence, you're sure you can hear your heart beating
???: This is a fucking joke, right!? I'm outta here
''You didn't notice the person next to you, it was an older man, you just woke up, everything happened too fast after all.
The man took a few steps, 3 to be exact, when suddenly a gunshot was heard, you didn't see where it came from, but you saw the man's body fall to the ground as a pool of blood formed, the rules were clear, you must roll the dice to advance.
Out of nowhere, in the spot the man next to you occupied, is now occupied by another person who is confused, it's up to you whether to explain the rules to them or not''
All this, who are you?
>Name
>Sex
>Appearance (no repeats allowed)
>Age (Optional)
>Backstory (Optional)
(If you die quickly, you can come back with another character and wait for them to explain the rules or trick you into stealing your dice.
This is a quick roleplay that may not have a precise ending, I'm just doing it for fun, you can interact as much as you want within the 3-hour period, but once everyone is done, they all die and the game restarts)
