https://youtu.be/k7kWiFWglMMIce closes in around you, even the heat generated by your quirk and your suit unable to fight it back. The ice presses against you, trying to crush you. Fire continues spreading in the background... but it's not enough. Aurelio and Chihiro are still suffering from the Nomu's spores, and Ukyo and Bullseye can barely keep up with Kirila.

You were weak, and this junkie—barely keeping from choking on his own black bile—was guiding his ice creations with trembling hands like the most erratic orchestra conductor imaginable. There were no signs of reinforcements coming. You were in a terrible position.

This was so frustrating. The anger boiling inside you made the steam venting from your suit grow stronger, along with the stench of sulfur.

Damn it! If only... if only you were stronger. You could have all the will in the world, but without power, you couldn't do anything in this situation.

Just lifting one arm—if you could—you'd stretch it toward the ice man and melt him with all your strength. If only...

No matter how much magma you fired now, its power fell short. It was quickly extinguished by the overwhelming amount of ice, which only fueled your rage further.

A burning rage that made you boil from within—an emotion so intense and explosive it began overloading your suit, the steam it released to regulate temperature now wrapping around you like a shroud.

So much anger and heat, felt in every inch of your body, burning, burning with immense intensity. The ice crept closer, climbing up your arm and covering your hand, which still fired magma in vain.

More strength. You needed more strength.
https://youtu.be/RdGMYBNqZtYIt burned, burned like standing under the sun for hours, burned like being doused in boiling oil. The heat grew so intense it became unbearable.

Heat coursed through every centimeter of your body while ice continued closing in around you.

Steam began shooting out with such pressure it produced a shriek reminiscent of a train whistle, as the cooling system was pushed into overdrive.

It wasn't enough. The ice finally eclipsed your efforts, consuming your hand and the magma in a thick layer of ice, its advance now inevitable as it climbed up your body toward your face.

More. You needed more.
More pressure. More heat. More strength.

More.

Even if your body seemed unresponsive, your mind—and your quirk—still fought on.

Your needs were clear. Adrenaline and fury burned like fuel, steadily increasing the temperature like coal being shoveled into a furnace.

It was a strange sensation. Like something was stuck in a drain and you couldn't pull it out. Like trying to hammer a nail with a feather.
The ice kept closing in on you, but something was changing—your focus, your strength fading. Why...?

Why?

Why were you holding back?

I let myself get carried away here, change it however you like, no problem

It was a stupid question. Your quirk had always been like this. It had improved over time and training—your control, precision, how fast or strong you could fire it—but it had always been just enough, as far back as you could remember.

Why? Why were these doubts coming now, while the ice kept climbing up your throat toward your face?

Cold mixed with the heat of your body as the magma dimmed beneath the ice spreading over it.

You needed more. But your body wouldn't respond. It was like hitting a wall—you could almost see it, or maybe you were starting to hallucinate.

There was an invisible barrier, one that had always been there. Even if you'd noticed it before, you'd never questioned it.

The ice kept rising, covering your face as the deafening hiss of steam faded once the ice sealed over your features.

Old memories—some clear, others blurred—floated before you, as if seen through fogged glass.

An old mattress, a small room, snow outside the window, and a little fire you used to light every time.

All the kids playing around it. You were there too.

And then... only darkness. Confinement in that same room. The children's joy turning into disgust.

A fight whose origin you don't remember. Glances and words you never wanted to give or speak. Hands closing in on you, touching you...

And then only heat. Intense, overwhelming heat.

And screams—screams of pain accompanying the stench of burning flesh as a girl collapsed to the floor.

Magma poured from your hands. Too much magma.

The memory hits you like a brick. The image of fire spreading through the old orphanage seems to devour you as you run.

You're no longer watching from a distance—you're there. Defying the weather. Snow melts beneath your feet, trees burn in your proximity, and you see it all repeating in a loop, each time with greater clarity. Details you'd forgotten, locked away in your memory, now resurface.

You never wanted to hurt anyone.

But as the ice keeps crushing you,

you finally understand. That constant craving for strength—it was pointless.

It had never really been about strength. It was fear. The fear born from that experience, from hurting someone when you lost control.
You yourself had been limiting your quirk and your potential for so long. Consciously or unconsciously, never wanting to go through something like that again.

But as the ice tomb continued to grow around you, you saw the blurry figures of your companions still fighting.

You were no longer in that old orphanage, you were in company, fighting for others, for something bigger.

Ukyo and Bullseye were giving their all and trusted you.
Your parents trusted you.

You no longer needed these chains, you had grown, in power and character, and you needed to reclaim your strength to be able to use it as it deserved.

...
The heat increased even more, and the ice covering you began to crack rapidly until it shattered.

Thousands of ice fragments shot out in all directions as an enormous amount of magma emerged with you, enveloping your body and falling to the ground like an incandescent waterfall, the microscopic ice fragments reflecting the light in a dazzling spectacle.

Steam expanded with unparalleled force with another deafening hiss, the smell of sulfur increasing and becoming unbearable.

Your suit was practically spewing entire clouds to try to regulate the temperature, and yet you still felt the effects of the overheating.

The ice began to melt before it could touch you, the cold being nothing more than a distant memory, you could feel it, something had changed, there was no longer any wall preventing your progress.

The ice type spits out some black bile that solidifies before hitting the ground and fires the enormous ice dragon at you again.

https://youtu.be/qBsH-zv9_6U?t=1m41sThis train-sized monster was going to crush you, but there was no longer any fear, extending your arms, you unleashed your power. A huge amount of magma shot forward, sweeping away the ice in front of it and colliding with the frozen dragon.

The ground beneath your feet began to blacken as the concrete melted from the heat and the falling magma.

The magma coming out of your arms was getting bigger and bigger. It felt natural, more comfortable, it was like breathing, if not even more fluid. As if your quirk had been waiting all this time for you to stop being afraid of it so it could become one with you again, mind, body, and soul in sync as it should be.

It wasn't a new technique or a special move. The simplicity of simply having a greater power output was incredibly effective.

The heat wave pierced the icy attack as the creature's head began to melt, the ice subject doubled over in pain, its limbs trembling and bending at strange angles as it tried to apply even more force, but you could do the same, and without such exaggerated effort in your body.
Your strength kept increasing, matching Ice's for a few seconds, then beginning to surpass it—not just due to elemental advantage, but because you could see the drug's high wearing off and his power fading.

The dragon melted and collapsed in chunks, until finally being consumed by the cascade of molten rock that buried it completely.

"¡ROAHHH!"

Aurelio and Chihiro seized the moment and, with their last remaining strength, hurled the Nomu into your magma torrent. Caught in the crossfire, the modified human was effortlessly consumed and incinerated. The magma flow continued, burning more, melting every trace of ice, while the drugged subject tried to escape—but his waning power combined with your heat made for a terrible mix.

He staggered backward, attempting to form more ice, but his fingers barely responded, and black bile kept spilling from his mouth as the heat melted his latest attempts before they could even take shape.

Fire had completely transformed the battlefield. The ground was covered in molten rock, and its stability was now in question as flames spread and affected the rest of the structure.

You could end this. You could finish him.

By simply extending your arms a little further, increasing the magma flow and letting the current reach him, you'd finish it—it would be so easy.

But the memory of the orphanage remained fresh in your mind, making you tremble even though you no longer felt cold.

You weren't that terrified person who'd lost control anymore. And you didn't want to become someone who solved everything by reducing it to ashes.

Now you were in control.

The magma torrent gradually slowed and finally extinguished. In its place, the molten rock spun on itself, compressing into a dense sphere—something you were far more accustomed to.

The ice subject barely reacted when the sphere struck him full in the chest. Several ribs cracked simultaneously, the impact lifting him off the ground before slamming him against a wall.

His arms trembled, his legs gave out, and then he collapsed, unconscious.

The heat remained unbearable as steam continued to billow in huge clouds from your suit.

Above all, you were in control. Now you were a hero, and that difference mattered—because even though you still had all this adrenaline coursing through you, it was better to shift your focus toward a certain paper woman.

"THE HELL, WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT EARLIER?!" Aurelio complained

https://youtu.be/h_WFkBXquiQKirila hovered in the air thanks to her wings, while the outside world was separated by a dense barrier of paper spinning at enormous speeds, hard as steel and sharp as blades, forming a perfect cage.

Thousands of sheets flew through the air in impossible patterns. It wasn't ordinary paper; her advanced quirk control allowed her to reorganize its fibers and compact them into a structure similar to nanocellulose, multiplying its resistance to far exceed that of steel. The result was terrifying: light, sharp, and durable sheets, a perfect means of attack and defense.

The entire area had turned into a shredder. Ukyo could barely destroy the blades approaching her, while Ganosuke tried to open gaps in the Yakuza's defense with little success.

Kirila remained suspended above them, watching from above as small drops of that black bile escaped her mouth, without it seeming to affect her power.

"Kirila!" Bullseye shouts as he dodges another rain of blades "This makes no sense! Are you really going to waste your life for something like this?"

Kirila gave no response to the mention of her name, nor to the question.
Ukyo seizes the moment to join in.

"You can still surrender! If we don't defeat you, someone else will. There's no point in wasting your energy and your life taking that trash."

For a moment it seems the Yakuza might respond, and she does with a laugh that sounds more like a growl.

"Gahr... Surrender...? How easy it is for heroes to talk."

Bullseye tries again "You don't have to continue with this. We have your information; you were a good student as a teenager. Why are you doing this?"

Their voices came out muffled by the paper storm, but they were understandable.

"...My information?" Kirila's voice drops an octave "Is that all?" Another drop of that black bile falls from her mouth. "A stupid file? How convenient..."

Ukyo continues "We aren't trying to judge you! It's not too late to do the right thing and surrender."

"Surrender...? How easy it is for heroes to talk."

Bullseye intervenes "We aren't here to judge you."

"Lies!" The whirlwind explodes in intensity due to the woman's strong emotions "Heroes always judge, that's all they do!"

"Heros always have empty answers and stupid speeches!" The speed and ferocity of the whirlwind increase along with the blades.

"We're trying to help people!" Ukyo shouts "You can do the same if you give this up."

"Help?" Kirila's eye begins to twitch nervously "They always arrive when everything is already over. If that's their idea of helping, pass."
More sheets join the gale.

"They always think they can understand people by looking at four papers and a file, glancing over a group of people and speaking as bearers of the truth"

The blades coordinate and start being fired from all directions as a single block of blades.

"Good student? Is that all they can say about me? They know nothing!" Her voice rose with her rage, as if breaking "Heroes know nothing of pain. They never appear when someone truly needs them. They only arrive when everything is already over"

With little time to react, Bullseye pushes Ukyo out of the way, becoming the sole victim of the blades.

"And then they talk!" Kirila continues as the storm becomes more ferocious. "They talk and talk!"

"Bullseye!"

Ukyo screams as the professional hero disappears under the white tide.

The sound is horrible. Hardened leaves pierce through suit and flesh from every angle, opening new cuts every second as blood splatters the ground.

In a rush, Ukyo gathers all the arrows she can and makes them explode, dissipating part of the storm with the impact.

The blades scatter and Bullseye falls to his knees. There wasn't a single place on his body that wasn't bleeding.

Kirila watches him from above "...Pathetic" She clenches her fist "They always do the same thing. Do you think acting like a martyr is going to make me reason? Are you supposed to move me?"

Bullseye manages to stand up. "Well... maybe I didn't choose the best conversation topic..." He stumbles again, supporting himself with his hands so he doesn't fall face-first to the ground "But I'm serious. We just want to help... and I'm very sorry if you went through hardships, but this isn't going to resolve anything"

Kirila lowers her gaze. For an instant, her eyes show something different from rage. Just an instant.

"Trash" The paper barrier closes again as hundreds of hardened blades point at both heroes "You know nothing of pain. You never appear when someone truly needs you, so stop acting like you can save someone with your empty speeches"

As the sound grew louder, the indistinguishable smell of burning, and the potent sulfur became clearer than crystal.

https://youtu.be/UuTq-Aynwnw?t=20sThe torrent of industrial volumes of magma struck the paper whirlwind like a car-sized meteor, piercing through it while turning the leaves into ash. Ukyo rushes and pulls Bullseye out of the way.

You stand face to face against the lilac-haired woman, her palpable rage as she watches you.
"You..." Her words were filled with venom "Can't you stop bothering me, you damn brat"

With a gesture, more paper swirls and a massive block of blades shoots toward you, but like against ice, it was just a matter of extending your arms.

The heat intensifies, steam hisses out of your suit under pressure as the magma torrent is fired with such force it almost pushes you back. First you match Kirila's attack, and in a few seconds you surpass it, consuming the paper in flames and forcing her to back off.

The Yakuza clicks her tongue, Bullseye incapacitated, Ukyo could do little now, and Aurelio and Chihiro were still recovering from the spores... now it was one on one.

Kirila attacks ferociously, but with the new level you were wielding, all that adrenaline and euphoria made the obvious difference.
You could barely keep up with her pace, but it wasn't necessary. Your Quirk had become vastly superior. If before you had an advantage over hers, now it was crushing.

The Yakuza had lost her only superiority over you that she had in their previous fight, the quantity, you had matched it. In that way, the balance had tipped very unfairly in your favor.

No matter how large and violent her attacks were, they were consumed by the enormous amount of magma you countered.

"YOU DAMN BRAT!" She screams "Stop interfering! What do you know?!"

You knew nothing, nothing about her, and she knew nothing about you, and yet that wasn't an obstacle for you to act.

Kirila kept retreating while large amounts of paper accumulated around her. The blades compacted layer upon layer as the heat consumed them and black veins began to mark her body.

"What do you know about the others?!" Her voice came out broken, loaded with rage "What the hell do heroes know about pain?!" More paper joined the whirlwind as her delirium fueled by anger continued "Do you know what it's like to be worth nothing to anyone?!. Do you know what it's like to be locked up, and that no one cares if you live or die?!"

"Do you know what it's like to ask for help and no one shows up, to disappear and no one looks for you?!"

The paper begins to compress upon itself, hardening more as it gains shape.

"No!. Heroes always arrive when it's too late, they know nothing!" Her hands tremble as she commands her attack "And then they talk! They always talk about hope, about justice and saving people!"

"That garbage called hope never did anything for me" The enormous pile of paper begins to take shape behind her, a gigantic mass of hardened leaves and compacted blades, the force of these breaking the walls and ceiling of this floor.
"Trusting heroes only brought me pain... but there was someone." Her voice drops. "The boss reached out when no one else would. Bruce gave me a place, gave me the chance to be worth something... So I don't care what you say!"

The attack culminates, a massive cone-shaped pile of paper as big as a small building, pointing straight at you.

"I'm not abandoning him!"

https://youtu.be/M7Gu9FeUM6M >Nazuna has more plus ultra moments than anyone else kek

With a violent arm movement, the entire mountain of hardened paper shoots forward like an avalanche.

You plant your feet; the ground begins melting again as your suit's cooling system finally gives out, breaking apart along with parts of your suit that start incinerating from the intense heat.

Even the oxygen seems to be burning away, as if you were the operator of a thermobaric weapon, repeating the same tactic: extending your arms and firing with all your strength.

The magma erupts as a single uniform jet, almost a flash of light, colliding with the enormous paper cone.

You feel your arms about to melt. The shot's force is so great you start skidding backward until something presses against your back and stops you.

"Finish this, damn it!"

Using his quirk, Aurelio holds your back with a massive aura hand, aided by a current of air from Chihiro.

"Let's go, Nazuna!" Ukyo shouts.

The paper advances, regenerating and twisting to carve through the molten rock even as it burns. Kirila is giving everything, but so are you.

Especially when, literally and metaphorically, you have people behind you supporting you. Using your last reserves of energy, you floor the accelerator; the magma torrent grows stronger, pushing back Kirila's attack until finally, it burns everything away.

...

The entire opposite wall, along with the ceiling of this floor and the one above, is reduced to rubble and molten rock, not counting the magma itself, which will cool down after you unleash your attack at full power.

You lower your arms, cramped, mind foggy, vision blurred. There's no trace of the Yakuza. Did she...?

"Damn, she got away!" Ukyo says, activating her communicator. "I need medics urgently! Bullseye is in critical condition!"

Oh... you hadn't killed anyone. Aurelio lets go, but your legs are trembling.

"Nazuna? Nazuna!"

You hear Ukyo shouting your name, but the heatstroke is too strong; you lose consciousness.

https://youtu.be/Nm4Gjyq5kHoYour blurry vision was adjusting, things were becoming clearer.

"Oh, he's waking up!" It was Ukyo.

When you manage to orient yourself, you realize something... you were inside a refrigerator.

With your arms and legs dangling out, you were inside a refrigerator full of melting ice bags and other fresh things. You had cans of Deku-Cola, Grape-Rush beer, frozen meals, and a steak cooked medium-rare on your abdomen, all from the efforts to cool you down after losing consciousness. Your suit was quite ruined, but at least you didn't look half-naked.

The refrigerator was being charged by Aurelio's aura, who, noticing you waking up, releases it and lets you drop. That startles you, but you can get out and shake off the moisture.

"Took you long enough," says the Italian.

"Are you okay?" asks Ukyo.

Chihiro puts another ice bag on your head, which is melting, though at a slower pace. You still felt a great heat, but it was more manageable.

"You passed out from using so much of your Quirk. The paper woman escaped, and we had to leave Bullseye to the medics."

"We went down to the first floor to help the others--" >>131324 There you saw them in the distance, Akira and Eri's team fighting against a woman without arms and some Nomus.

They hurry to continue, but they can't say a word until Ghost Lady raises her voice and shouts at them to go through the adjacent hallway to help Lucas's group.

As they move, they pass by Eri, who, with a shock, restores a little energy to each of the five of them.

You weren't at 100%, and with your suit, your heat regulation wasn't optimal, but with renewed stamina and will, you move ahead.

"Hey, wait up!" Ukyo shouts.
...
>>131698
>"GIVE BACK YOUR RETURN-ATION!"

"Nuh uh," says Eri, shaking her head. "Consider yourself saved; no returns." Damn it.

Yukako was a huge fan of Ghost Lady, just like you were of Deku.

>"Hey, don't be shy, Yukako!"
>"I copied Deku too because I'm his fan!"

Yukako looks at you, with an expression that becomes kinder despite being embarrassed and harsh before.
"Really? You must like him a lot, hehe" She laughs "You're a good boy Lucas. You'll go far"

...

https://youtu.be/bwtMpGBBq9IThe fear of the bullet rain sets your alarms off, but Kin stops you before you sacrifice your arm in vain, with Yukako countering the powerful attack; now it's her turn and they advance destructively, breaking the enemy's ranks.

But he decides to flee once more; things seem to be turning against him, so they change their strategy, especially with Karui's idea.

>"Think of a strategy!"

"Ehhh..."

"We keep doing what we're doing until we reduce him; whatever he injected, his body won't last long, whether from stamina or vitality, until reinforcements arrive" Yukako exclaims, taking charge "Don't let him escape!"

"Right, then--CESS" Tomás grabs Karui suddenly

With more space, Yukako allows herself to expand the area covered by the portals to give you more running room; having enough distance, you launch yourself upward with all the strength your legs can give, while Yukako and Kin do their best to counter every shot from a opportunistic clone aimed at the two of you.

"¡WOAHHHH!" Karui shouts

In less than half a second, you go up and up until the sky; the factory below looks small, as if you had climbed around 500 meters. Still in the air, and before a second passes where you'd lose your momentum and gravity would affect you, you grab Karui firmly by the arms and start spinning.

You spin like a drill or a helicopter blade, spinning at over 1000 revolutions per second until you release your partner, letting your own strength plus the accumulated centrifugal energy carry him to his destination.

Karui flies off with a burst, a human, going higher than you, piercing the clouds and disappearing from your sight.

You start falling again, and by kicking the air, you manage your direction to get back to Yukako and avoid being sniped by any of the hundreds of clones.

https://youtu.be/ViojeNpKbVMAs Lucas landed, Yukako and Kin were losing the advantage, with now even part of the clones maintaining the offensive while the other scaled away.
But a sudden wave of heat hits their backs, followed by screams, and of course, the smell of sulfur, Nazuna joins the fight.

Having burst from the ground despite only needing to reach the end of the hallway, the heroes had to look cool after all when making their entrances.

In her berserker frenzy state, Nazuna shoots toward the sky, firing another enormous torrent of Magma, along with the one she carried underground; it rises like a uniform column several meters in diameter, beginning to rain down on the clones who activate their shields.

Lucas gets the heroine's attention again; the plan remained the same.

"Hey, magma girl, try this!"

The dwarf heroine gives the two aspirants two unique portals; the first almost seems to cut through Nazuna's attack flow, but instead, from the sky, the magma rain now looks like a biblical cataclysm, exponentially increasing its volume and destructive capabilities, while the rest of the building begins to be consumed by the flames.

On the other side, Lucas's attacks against the air increase greatly once more, and accompanied by Kin's shots, the sweeping barrage begins to halt the clones' escape attempt as they start falling on top of each other; the force of the air hardens the magma in several places, also causing a bothersome dead weight of solid rock over several clones.

"RAHHH!" A chunk of debris flies from behind.

A strong air shot accompanies it, piercing through some portals, adding their grain of sand against the clones' disruption.

Also with their fair share of exhaustion, Aurelio and Chihiro join the group, the board-faced boy as quiet and expressionless as always, and Aurelio annoyed, as always.

"...Is that what we have to defeat?" says the blonde, somewhat perplexed. "Looks like a bunch of insects."

"Wait... guys!" Ukyo arrives last, panting.

A strong wind bursts forth, making their hair fly in the opposite direction as a whirlwind of white and paper descends from the sky through the hole in the roof, and in between is a certain woman with lilac hair, with great fury in her eyes; reinforcements also arrive for the villain, and Kirila joins the melee.
"It's about time, damn it!" The clones shout, with multiple voices of different tones and volumes "Give me a hand to get out of here!"

The Yakuza woman turned around, observing the mob of clones and nodded slightly before speaking.

"Yes, boss..."

https://youtu.be/O0qhWAB6YVE?t=1m10sA sudden orange glow illuminated the sky, a huge trail of the same color fell like a meteor with a large fire tail following it.

That glow growing bigger and bigger with every meter it descended. It was Karui, with her strength back at 110% if not more, wrapped in flames and charging a powerful attack.

"Apollo's Sun: Smash!"

That fire attack grew to be several magnitudes larger than the previous one and she threw it at the pile of clones. Kirila wanted to counter, but the attack was swallowed by a portal and reappeared right in front of the clones, finishing off their numbers like a bowling ball hitting pins.

The Shiketsu student landed again next to the group, cracking the ground with his fall from his superhero pose, exuding flames and heat just as strong, if not stronger, than Nazuna. He was stronger now, even a bit taller than when Lucas saw him this morning, now surpassing 2 meters.

"Are we waiting for something? There are villains to defeat."

That served to boost the spirits.

The clones try their encirclement again while dividing into offense and escape, with Kirila providing support.

"A suggestion, but I think the heat quirks should focus on the paper woman," Ukyo said, sounding like a plan.

>Would they let him go if he apologizes later...?

Nadia looks at you, like someone seeing a puppy in the rain. "Oh, Akira..." She pats your shoulder. "Not a chance."

...

Seeing the situation, you decide to change the script. You were going to do more heavy lifting to give Eri more room to finish Yamada, or at least buy more time until your teammates got rid of their respective fights.

"Are you sure?" You were, besides, you had promised. You were going to push her to keep going. Eri smiles. "Then let's do it."

https://youtu.be/LeI5OkEA0-wEri sighs, relaxing her muscles. In one hand, her bandages are tight with bone protrusions; in the other, loose and ready to be manipulated.

"Ohhh, is this one of those things where you show your hidden power?!" Yamada says.

"You could say I'm taking off my gloves..." Eri says. "But this was always a team effort."

You increase Yamada's weight more; her bare feet sink into the concrete, but her goofy expression of joy doesn't fade. On the contrary, she smiles even harder.

"Sounds fun," she says, under her stance.

The prodigy daughter and the explosive leader, for an instant, stood still watching each other, until both launched at one another. Eri runs toward her, pushing off faster than normal thanks to her quirk, while the other makes a small explosion in her foot to propel herself even faster.

Both collide, and the roar of battle intensifies.

...

You had a horrible migraine, and your nose started bleeding. The constant effort would take a toll, but it was working. Her unpredictable style, devoid of any technique and dependent on brute force, was becoming inferior against Eri's.

Eri was agile, she was fast, and she knew how to use her quirk at a level of mastery that only someone who would be number one in the future could, and with your help, that difference in strength became even greater.

Yamada's wounds accumulated, and that inferior reference she possessed couldn't keep up, much less when Eri could reset the effect of her quirk to prolong the impediment in her transformation as much as possible.

A step to the right, Eri dodges a too-telegraphed punch that turns into an explosion. Yamada's hand explodes, but you give Eri more room to dodge by moving her with a center of gravity.

The bandage on her left hand wraps around Yamada. For a second, you reduce her weight; Eri pulls her, and you increase the weight of the unicorn's fist, resulting in a punch with the force of a train against Yamada's face.

Eri takes the bandage with both hands, twisting and lifting it. At that moment, you increase Yamada's weight again, mixing it with Eri's strength and slamming her into the ground.
A strong explosion dissipates the dust, Yamada's feet burst to propel her, like a wild dog, aiming to bite her neck. Eri's reaction combined with your center of gravity to deflect Yamada, avoiding damage, and Eri only loses a few hairs while dodging.

Yamada spins in the air, detonating parts of her legs again to propel herself with bandages. Eri points her hand at her, the energy is fired, becoming a powerful jet of blood that hits her like a cannonball and destabilizes her.

Eri dodges, the blood returns to its bandage form, but Yamada lands on her hands and propels herself again toward Eri's direction. In mid-air, she had no way to move, but instead of blocking, she entangled Yamada's arms with her bandages.

As Yamada approached, you entered again, changing her trajectory with C.G.D*(Center of Gravity)kek, and her weight reduced for better handling. Eri manipulates her, spinning her in the air, adding centrifugal force so that when you increase her weight again, it ends in another meteoric impact against the ground.

The ground shakes from the force of the impact; this time, Yamada broke through the floor.

Eri falls and doesn't waste time, pulling Yamada to bring her to her.

(https://youtu.be/Af6XgL9uizs?t=6s)The nosebleed intensifies, your migraine and headache worsen, you spit some blood as your concentration fails, and you end up bending your knee.

An explosion, Yamada propels herself toward Eri, emerging from the hole. One of the Three Greats is already preparing a counterattack, until her eyes open in surprise; that wasn't Yamada, just her arms.

Another explosion, you raised your blurry vision, detonating more of her lower part. Yamada propelled herself toward you; it made sense. Even someone who didn't seem as smart as she could deduce would try to take out the support before continuing to fight Eri.

"HAHA, I think I'll go for the neck!"

You wanted to stop her, but your brain had already exerted too much effort; it wouldn't be enough. She opens her mouth, showing her teeth that begin to shine with an orange glow. If she didn't tear off your neck, you would explode when she bit you.

Eri screams, wanting to reach them but not arriving in time... but it wasn't necessary.

https://youtu.be/tWl1ekjk2aQAnd Lucas appears!

Suddenly, without time to lose, the straw hat appears to defend Akira from the bomb girl. His arm, not broken, shines with even more intensity than the rest of his body in his F.C state.

Impressed, Yamada has no time to change her trajectory before Lucas's fist collides with her face. The clash between both forces forms a real and opposite effect. A tooth loosens in Yamada's mouth, and Lucas feels his bones tremble... he manages it.
His arm glows, followed by a subsequent explosion that sends a powerful shockwave.

Yamada's face is just as blown apart as Hasai's, flying through the air, bouncing off the ground, and falling back into the hole he emerged from.

The recoil hits Lucas too, teeth gritted in pain. The timing was correct... but it could have been better, like in his first attempts. His muscles scream in agony, his bones feel the pressure on the verge of snapping... but his arm didn't break this time.

In the background, the rest of the reinforcements help the team. Karui is the perfect counter to the mini Nomu and its elastic rubber defense, allowing Simon to crush it after the heat burns through the defense. Yukako and Kin help Black and pull him out of a tight spot against the fast quadruped Nomu. Nadia needed no help; Number 10 had her fight completely under control.

"Lucas!" Eri shouts, landing with a jump, covered in golden energy like a Full Cowl. "That was incredible... Ah, Akira!"

Eri kneels beside Akira and uses her Quirk to stabilize him and rewind the damage, or at least the worst part, to conserve her energy. A headache is better than a brain hemorrhage.

"Your arm... give it to me," Eri says, looking at Lucas. "We don't want Mirumo to get mad at you, hehe."

Eri takes the straw hat-wearer's hand and begins healing him. "Hmm... let's say five minutes."

Lucas's injured arm is healed, the wounds reversing and mending until it's as good as new, though only the arm; the other is still bruised. With another touch, she stabilizes the rest of the open wounds and pain, though it can't be said he's back at 100%.

"Sorry I couldn't heal you properly; now I need to conserve my energy," says the Number 1 aspirant, wiping sweat from her forehead and looking at her horn, which once again seems to have shrunk slightly.

The group gathers around the three of you, everyone except Nadia... (https://youtu.be/RvgPb6H8LFE)
She was... well, everywhere, engaged in her own high-speed battle with the ghostly Nomu, her favorite duty. She was the only one with the ability, and therefore the responsibility, to face that beast. Until, with a precise kick, she sends it flying into a steel beam, denting it and stunning it.

Number 10 lands beside everyone, still elegant, brushing off the dust.

"You're here in good time, Portalis."

"Y-Yes, it's an honor to work alongside you, Ghost Lady-sama."

Yukako nervously bows to the phantom heroine.

Nadia sees Yukako's injured hands, especially where she had stapled herself in the rush.

"Eri, heal her hands," Nadia orders.
Eri obeys the order and treats Yukako's wounds, healing the most severe injuries, though a couple of broken fingers remain, now bandaged.
Kin, meanwhile, continued swallowing debris to heal himself.

"We called for reinforcements," Yukako says. "If we work together, then—"

"Go ahead," Nadia says.

"W-What?"

"We don't have all day. We don't know what the leader is doing in his office or if he's even there. You go ahead; we'll catch up once we deal with these pests. We appreciate your help, but there's no time to waste."

From the hole in the floor, Yamada crawled using her chin and a pair of healing forearm stumps. Her face was covered in black fiber sutures, looking pale as if anemic. She stretched out a leg that was finishing healing its ankle, spun around, and returned to the surface.

"Ughhh, it's not fun if I can't heal normally!" She started kicking the ground like a tantrum.

The quadruped Nomu began moving at high speed again, circling them and joining the phantom Nomu.

"I trust you," Nadia says.

"Yes, you can do it!" Eri backs her up.

"I guess," Simon shrugs his shoulders so he's not left out.

"U-Understood, whatever you order, Ghost Lady-Sama," Yukako says.

Behind her, Kin twists his arm, ready to keep firing.

"We'll give you an opening. Go to the end of the hallway; that's where the shark boss is."

(https://youtu.be/2jAuSmk-yus)With immense speed, Nadia intercepts the phantasmal Nomu to continue her fight, while Simon and Black charge at the quadruped. Lucas's team has a clear path to proceed.

Meanwhile, Eri and Akira still had work to do against Yamada.
The bomb girl glared at them angrily, her underwear torn to shreds... and finally falling off, now completely naked.

"It's not fair, it's not fair!" Yamada complained, waving her healing stumps, which were mending at a rather slow pace.

"You can surrender... you're not in any condition to keep fighting," Eri says.

"Never, ugly narwhal!" Yamada screamed.

Eri sighed and prepared to continue.

"[Attention, all units]" The communicators of all sound at the same time "[The green light is given for the advance. Repeat, all units, you have the green light to advance]"

With that warning, each group prepares individually.

"Remember, we will clean up the respective floor and meet up to go after the leader" Says Daiki, the others nod in agreement

Each group had chosen their attack zone, basement, second floor, third floor.

"So it's our turn for the first floor, are you ready?" Asks Daiki, the rest of the team nods "Amane, are you transporting us?"

It was true, only you and Daiki had the ability to fly, Kaito, Miyo and Jira... well, no, nothing that a plasma platform can't fix.

The rest of the groups begin to leave in their own way, you go through a window and start flying to the factory, the sounds of combat are already heard when they arrive.

...

They go through a window and are met by some cannon shots that miss their targets.

https://youtu.be/WceuSg7IjZkA blue and orange streak arrives, creating a lot of wind, with him came a subject in a tight suit that seemed like a hero's, but you had already seen him in the presentation, he was one of the leaders of the sharks, Suzuki Reo, the speedster.

And with him he brought, to your misfortune, Nomus.
These were different from those symbiotic ones from two weeks ago, they looked more... traditional.
One seemed like a snake, another had wings, and the other walked on four legs like a canine.

"Silva Fiuu, look what Santa Claus brought" Says Reo "The big fish came"

"Old man, that's hero number 5, we're screwed!" Says the crocodile, the others follow suit

"For that these trash are here" Reo points behind to the Nomus "They're for doing the hard work, duh. Are you going to keep crying?, can't you handle a cripple and some kids?"

With their damaged pride, the henchmen obey "That's what I thought, tch"

"Are they going to surrender peacefully, right?" Asks Kaito

"¡Nope!" Says Reo, he snaps his fingers, and the Nomus turn their heads to him "¡For the little guy!"

"¡Those things are dangerous, I'll take care of them!" Says Daiki

Hero number five goes all out from the start and with a gust of wind sends the Nomus flying to the other side of the factory and follows them shortly after.

Therefore you were left with four against the rest of the enemies.

Kaito commands and draws his sword "Be quick, there's no time to lose"

"Huh?" The last member of Gwen's team standing, Rosalia notices the ghost's complaints. "Oh right, I wanted to ask that too. Even with Dorian's help, I'd doubt they could take down Shiori that easily. What did you do to weaken her so much?" Oh praise!, that's exactly what the ghost wanted to hear. "That's quite a feat for an aspirant, well done."

>"but I also feel like if I touch a bed I'll be asleep until next week."

"Don't I know it."

>"Let's invite the new one."

"Who?" Asuna asks.

"Yeah, who?" Veronica follows up.

The B-class students turn their heads toward the corner where Hanan was.

"I think they're talking to you," Amelia tells Hanan.

After chatting with her new classmate, Hanan suggests something.

>"Should we take a photo so the others know we're alive?"

"Works for me. Pose." Amelia gets ready and makes a 'V' with her fingers to pose. "The girls must be worried... heh, but it feels good to show off and say we came back from a super-mission, right?"

"Thump thump" Ayumi taps the truck. "Well, it was fun saving the day and almost dying in the process, see ya! I gotta go wake up my boss, catch you later!" She gives a salute and vanishes in a poof.

"Be careful, and don't push yourselves too hard, okay?" Mao says. "I'll be testing you again in the coming days."

...

The truck's engine roared to life, first a deep rattle, then the vibration ran through the entire chassis as the vehicle slowly started moving.

The tires left the operation ground and began rolling down the streets back to the city, back to UA. Nothing notable, just the hum of the engine and the occasional curve or pothole.

It was strangely quiet, for some, too quiet. And as the adrenaline faded, exhaustion hit some like an avalanche, healed or not.

Hanan and Alpyr weren't faring well because of it; their bodies seemed to remember every blow, every sprint, and every second without rest. They could feel the fatigue seeping into every corner of their bodies.

Meanwhile Gwen... well. The ghost remained completely oblivious to physical exhaustion, though mentally she was just as drained as everyone else.

Rosalia was nodding off from tiredness. "Mm..." She wanted to stay awake, but a minute later she was doing exactly the same thing.
Amelia wasn't doing much better, talking to herself to stay awake, but still falling asleep in between.

"It was good we arrived on time, that looked ugly," Asuna said.

"Yeah, killer giant lizards tend to be dangerous," Veronica added.

Time kept passing until the truck slowed down and stopped; they had arrived at their destination, UA. Upon getting out, even in this gray weather, it still looked just as huge and imposing as any other day, with its massive front glass structure.

As they got off... there were people waiting, two of them, both with some scratches and bruises patched up after so much fighting that day.

"Maria-sensei!" Asuna hit the ground and launched herself to hug the muscular blonde woman.

After being caught in the hug and giving her two seconds to appreciate it, Maria grabbed Asuna by the head and pulled her away.

"That's enough, girl," she said severely. Beside her, Chumimaru was smiling.

"Yeah, sorry," Asuna replied.

"Sensei," Vero said.

Maria looked at her students and smiled, a smile where you could see her pride swelling; she was very similar to Cornelia in certain aspects.

"You did well, brats! Not only did you complete two missions but you also saved the other class's ass."

Chumimaru watched her raise an eyebrow, making the blonde snap back to reality.

"Cough cough. I mean, you did well."

Chumimaru used his quirk and formed a message in the air with smoke: "I couldn't have said it better; you did wonderfully out there, especially for a mission of such caliber." He paused to rewrite: "Alpyr already knows me, but for you, Hanan, Gwen, I'm Chumimaru, and I'll be your teacher for the next semester. It's a pleasure to meet you in person." The albino bowed before the three.

The truck shook, and Rosalia got off still half-asleep. "Ugh... hi Chumi."

Chumimaru waved at her and rewrote his message: "Feel free to continue your way and rest; I'll stay here waiting for the others." He turned to Gwen and rewrote his message: "Although Gwen-chan, the principal asked if you could talk to her in her office; it looked important, you should go with her." and so we continue that

Amelia is still there, feeling like she's been ignored for being an extra. "Do you have dorms here? I need to change this clothes."

>Gwendoline
Just a comment, nothing more than that you receive. Gwen raises an eyebrow and keeps her lips twisted into a grimace. It is evident that Rosalía's words do not satisfy him.

"I don't know, you tell me"

It is evident that Rosalía does not know because she was not there.

"Tsk! Stop harassing me with questions! I'm not your friend nor do I plan to be! Get your bearings!"

Gwendoline walks away. He looks for Clara, maybe he can give her the attention she wants. But the last time he noticed, the boy didn't even bother to wake up from his unconsciousness to flatter him. Clara is the worst!

...

But Gwen got her revenge. Seeing them all in the truck, with their faces drooping from fatigue, the ghost smiled a half smile, feeling superior to all of them.

"They say that stress dangerously shortens the years of life. In reality, has anyone here known a hero who lives to be an old man? You could say that we are candles with short wicks..."

Except her, she is an eternal flame, such as is said to have existed in ancient Greece. Hanan and Alpyr looked like they were about to collapse! That was the best, Gwen covers her mouth with her hand, barely containing the urge to laugh.

Unfortunately, the congratulations and displays of affection that were seen when they arrived at the stop soured Gwen and made her stick out her tongue. Hence when Chumimaru appeared he didn't even bother to ogle him.

"Does the director want to see me...?" He repeats, his irritation transformed into genuine doubt. He shrugs his shoulders. "I suppose you'll want to reward me for my valuable work... Maybe get ahead of me a grade or two." He narrows his eyes and nods, that makes sense.

She walks forward as everyone finishes saying goodbye.

Then suddenly, from the hall

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

A scream that cracks the glass.

Gwen floats out of the hall at a surprisingly high speed, not even in the mansion did she have that level of urgency. He levitates until he is behind Rosalía's back and points to the reception with his hand. If ghosts can pale, she's showing it.

"I won't go through there! No! Never! I'd rather die!"

But why?

"That...! That...! THING! You have to remove it from the entrance! Burn it, shred it! FAST!"

Gwen covers her face with her hands as if it's painful to look at.

If you look out, you wouldn't see anything strange except for a lying card. It's a joker card. Meanwhile, Verónica, the psychic, was telling the director that she lost one of her decks, a rather expensive card, practically a family heirloom, and asked for monetary compensation.

>The sensation of slowly running out of oxygen, surrounded by vapors rising from my own body, was simply humiliating, an unprecedented nuisance. I can feel my heart beating against my chest again and again as I try to force myself to stand, futile as I am covered by large sheets of ice.

<-“How can ice beat heat? Can’t I get any hotter? For what reason can’t I raise the temperature any higher?”

https://youtu.be/nn6f5RgYchw?si=hBxe5opkhhMjcOmx>I was cold, despite all the heat I was producing. For the first time in a long time, I felt a piercing cold in my body. The sensation brought abysmal fear to my heart, anxiety began to grow up to my throat, I could no longer complain about being crushed even if I wanted to.

>The cold reminded him of something…

<-“Hokkaido… My beautiful Hokkaido… No… No…”

>He saw it in his dreams, the same scene that was always in his mind, again and again while he slept and woke him up at night.

>Images of terror, of how starting a fire forever extinguished the happiness that heat gave him.

>The characteristic smell of burnt meat and the sound of red-hot meat come to my mind and I begin to tremble with fear, like when they told us that the Yuki-Onna would take us if we went out of the orphanage at night.

<-“It’s very cold, was hell always cold? I’ve only done harm in this world, someone with a quirk as evil as mine, which can only harm, doesn’t deserve to be happy.”

>The last certain memories of the day came to his mind, how he fled in terror, how he burned trees, how he destroyed the place that sheltered him, the screams, the snow melting in his path and being barefoot while tears fell down his cheeks, but they quickly turned to vapor, until… It wasn’t like that anymore… It was cold, absolute cold, the snow of Hokkaido accumulated, there was no more heat, there was a stinging feeling in his extremities, cold, a cold like now.

<-“Mom… Dad… Help me, please…”

>He was falling asleep.

Voice: “Wake up from this death-dream you’ve fallen into! Aren’t you angry? Aren’t you frustrated that you can’t melt this ice? This quirk has hurt many people, but now, you can use it to save many people, save Ukyo and Bullseye, save them all.”

>Nazuna’s heart began to beat rapidly. He had heard a voice, his own voice speaking to him, a combination of his voice from all times, from his childhood to the present.

https://youtu.be/wQUH06QRCi4?si=J7DSf4HF3NuENqMx>My chest hurt, my heart was beating so hard and the adrenaline was so massive that I woke up with a start, I was furious, how could I have even forgotten? Now I was a hero, if I died now, everyone else would suffer too, wouldn't not using my power mean more harm?

>My blood boiled to the point that the ice around me melted and magma came out from everywhere, I felt like I was in control of what I was doing, it felt like I was in wonderland.

>I just knew I had to defeat the villain and save the day, and I was sure I could do it, so I just raised my hand and let it out, I no longer felt a weight on my back, the weight of holding back, but now it just flowed out of my body and I felt the heat slowly drowning me.

>When I saw the villain fall, I stopped and looked at Aurelio.

(((Aurelio: "Why the hell didn't you do that before?!")))

"Aurelio... I'm sorry... Leave it to me, you don't have to worry anymore."

>I felt a great weariness in my body, I felt my insides burning non-stop, but I had to keep walking, I had to keep proving that Nazuna Tachibana was not a villain, but a hero.

>That's why I kept attacking Kirlia using immense amounts I had never used before, and the heat I felt emanating from them was greater.

(((Kirila: "Do you know what it's like to ask for help and for no one to show up, for you to disappear and for no one to look for you?!")))

"It's true, life is cruel and the system isn't perfect, but what's the reason for continuing to perpetuate what made you who you are now? A mother cries for her son lost to drugs, just as a daughter loses her father to consuming them, is it fair to do that to others? You can always become better."

>Nazuna spoke calmly, looking at Kirila peacefully, almost like Buddha, the reality is that he was exhausted from dodging and continuing to attack, he was starting to feel all his energy leaving him, as well as his adrenaline from the moment he almost died fading.

>Seeing the immense attack coming towards them, Nazuna's eyes widened, turning to look at Ukyo and Aurelio.

"DAMMIT"

>A second eruption occurs from within him and his heart begins to pound again, expelling a massive amount of magma towards Kirila.

"ALSO, I'M A BRAT, NOT A BRAT."

>He clenched his teeth tightly, he had gotten so angry that they were dismissing him, he had ignored it because there were more important things like the fight, but he was tired of it, this woman was seriously trying to kill his friends, he had to defend them, but before he could finish the job, he had disappeared.

>Nazuna's eyes stopped glowing bright orange and he began to stagger.

"Ukyo, Aurelio, I'm glad you're okay..."

>Everything went black.

“Thanks for taking care of me, is Bullseye okay? I was late because of my lack of concentration, it seems I was a tremendous headache for you guys, and I was even bragging about saving Aurelio.”

>He laughs a little as he stands up, trying to clean himself off, even a little, but then he gets serious.

“Let’s finish this shit, I want to sleep in my bed and hug my family.”

>He looked much calmer now, as if he had been freed from a huge weight, he even played around a bit, patting Chihiro, Aurelio, and Ukyo.

“HEROES SHOULD HAVE AMAZING ENTRANCES, BUT UNDERSTOOD! I WON'T BE SO CRAZY”

>Nazuna continued his attack without discretion towards where his hero companion had pointed, so he just kept going and going.

(("Magma girl, try this!")))

>I didn't recognize her, the truth is I wasn't very invested in knowing who each hero was, but this one was very good, we were relentlessly drowning the villain, until…

“Tch, Kirila.”

>She was a continuous headache, I couldn't defeat her before and now she joins the villain, if I intended to keep being a hero I couldn't keep making these mistakes.

(("Sun of Apollo: Smash!")))

“I-Incredible, I-I want to do that too.”

>Nazuna turns, impressed with his eyes, that was the coolest thing he had seen in a long time, how he was covered in flames, the attack, the heat, he couldn't help but feel a little admiration.

<-“I’ll ask him later to teach me how to look so cool.”

(("A suggestion, but I think those with heat quirks should focus on the paper woman")))

“UNDERSTOOD!”

>His suit was ruined, and it’s not like the physical exhaustion had completely disappeared, his temperature had dropped, but he knew he was tired, so he had to give it his all.

>Nazuna began to use magma constructs to overwhelm Kirila as much as possible by using a large amount of magma, as well as occasionally defending his companions from the paper she threw.

“COME ON KIRILA, YOU HAVE A SCORE TO SETTLE WITH ME, RIGHT? WHAT’S WRONG? ARE YOU AFRAID OF ME?”

>He wanted her to focus on him and no one else, so the others could focus on the boss and the clones, he had already overwhelmed her once, now he just had to do it one more time.

<Consider yourself saved, there are no returns

"AAH, NO FAIR, NO FAIR!"

He complained, but there were no returns. At least after that the circumstances distracted him enough to continue. Running alongside team 3 ?, he discovered that he and the leader shared inspiration.

The boy shared his little secret with her. Perhaps not very well kept, but apparently well received by the smiles they also shared.

<Really? You must like it a lot, hehe

"Haha, yeah!" -he nodded, joining the chorus of laughter-

<You're a good boy, Lucas. You'll go far

"Huh?! Wah!"

He startled, stumbled, and stopped, standing firm. With his blush as visible on his cheeks as on a porcelain doll.

"What are you saying?!" -he looked away and fidgeted his knees like a nervous schoolgirl- "I DON'T LIKE YOU SAYING THINGS LIKE THAT!, I DON'T NEED COMPLIMENTS!" -and he pouted, in case it wasn't obvious, he was lying. It made him feel good-

...

Karui's idea became the priority. Kin, the genius, for the first time found himself hesitating about what to do next, but the aspirant reminded him of his position: The thinker. The strategist.

<We continue with what we're doing until we reduce it, with whatever has been injected, his body won't last much longer, be it from stamina or vitality, until reinforcements arrive

But it was Yukako who reaffirmed his captaincy in the uncertainty. Lucas nodded.

"That's a plan!" -he liked it because even he could understand it-

<Don't let him escape!

He took the order as if his life depended on it. Karui didn't even get to whisper a word before becoming Lucas's satellite, who launched himself like a shooting star forward before returning to the sky.

Portals surrounded him as if born from his red trail. The aspirant smiled once the infinite blue extended in all directions and decided to turn Karui into his propeller.

They spun like the world, the heat embraced them, and then, with all the momentum concentrated, Lucas threw Karui towards the sun, turning him into a supersonic man. He waved goodbye and surrendered to freefall.

The aspirant put his arms behind him and his face forward, falling as fast as he could, and frowned, concentrating, sharpening his senses. The armada maintained the constant assault, the aspirant extended his arm and swatted it away, and he took advantage of the sudden change to spin in the air and land on his feet next to Yukako, who still skidded a few centimeters on the ground before braking.

"I'M BACK!"
Things weren't looking too good. But then, reinforcements arrive! Lucky for them. With magma, wind attacks, and Kin's bullets, all enlarged by Yukako, they begin to decimate the clones and thwart their escape.

And then, more reinforcements arrived!

<Is that what we have to defeat?

"HEY, IT'S THAT GUY!" -and Chihiro- "AND THE MUTE ONE!"

<Wait... guys!

"..." -I didn't know him-

And speaking of people I didn't know, a blizzard surprises him, making him look up. It was... a girl, apparently angry.

"Who are you?"

<It's about time, damn it!

"Huh?!"

<Give me a hand getting out of here!

"He's not going to help you!"

<Yes, boss...

"HUH?! SHE'S EVIL!"

He discovered her! This information was vital, but then -many buts- Mr. Fahrenheit himself fell amidst flames.

<Apollo's Sun: Smash!

"Great..."

The bomb Karui was carrying fell directly on the clones, mimicking the end of the dinosaurs. The villain was scattered like an ant colony whose path is cut off, and Karui fell into his best version.

<Are we waiting for something? There are villains to defeat.

"HEY, THAT WAS AWESOME, DUDE!"

Lucas extended his hand and started patting Karui's back. Or that was the idea, because due to the height difference, he ended up receiving several spankings instead.

"YOU'RE AWESOME!" -he looked at Yukako and Kin- "SEE HOW HELPFUL THAT WAS! YOUR PLAN WAS AWESOME." -he stopped the patting-

>>10468
<I-Incredible, I-I want to do that too.

"Hey, yeah!" -he nodded at Nazuna's idea- "Teach us how to do that later!" -he didn't think about how impossible it was for him at that moment-

The battle had resumed. Bullets and paper united. And they said the sword was the opposite of the pen. Anyway. Lucas prepared to continue with the blows, but...

<A suggestion, but I think those with heat quirks should focus on the paper woman.

"Huh?" -he looked confused- "I don't have that..." -he felt the need to explain-

But it didn't matter. That gave him a very useful second to think of a new idea, Lucas smiled and approached a portal and raised a leg in a kick.

Parries are always stronger than punches. The same should be true for the blizzard she generated. But the idea was different.

After the first kick, the attack turned into a jump. He threw another wind kick, and felt he wasn't ready yet. It was with the third powerful kick that he finally dared.

(NOW!)

He applied Fa Jin to the combo. Closing the triad of kicks with the most explosive of the set.

>Has anyone here met a hero who lives to old age?

Gwen hints at the reality of heroism, early retirement due to the weight this profession placed on the body.

"It's true, the teacher in 3-B is like 50 and wants to retire" says Asuna

"Wasn't All Might in his 50s when he retired?" asks Veronica

"I'm very sure Mirko is still operating, and there was also the equipped hero, Yoroi Musha, who retired at 70" Amelia adds

"I'm very sure Silver Knight retired at over 60, although that's more the exception than the rule, rescue and low-profile heroes usually have a normal retirement age" says Rosalia

Oda kept typing with one hand, and answering the phone with the other. After a long and complicated process of elimination with Victoria to find the lying student, based on trial and error, looking at records and checking backgrounds, they had finally hit the nail on the head with a certain ghost.

No number matched, no record coincided, the more she verified, the more nervous Oda became.

"Oh no... how did I overlook this?... Nagiri is going to kill me... or worse, fire me! And it's not even Christmas yet to get my bonus..."

exploitation Labor problems aside, once all the information had been brutally confirmed, upon crossing the room and communicating it to Nagiri, she remained stoic and without reaction.
He let out a sigh "I see, I'll have to make some calls. Victoria, thank you very much for your help. Oda, write her a check and a letter of recommendation"

Well, they say the V stands for Victoria.

...

"No" She said in a very dry tone, as if it were expected

No, they weren't going to pay Victoria for her weird letter, she already had her check and on top of that Nagiri's word to get her hired for other things stingy elf.

Gwen runs away in terror towards Rosalia upon seeing the letter, some crystals on the front of the building crack. And the Dragon, like Chumimaru, are confused.

"That? It's just a poker card" Says Rosalia

Chumimaru just walks up to her and takes it from the entrance door. He makes a smoke message that communicates 'See? Nothing to worry about. ( ╹▽╹ )'.

"Hello Chumimaru"

The albino turns around, upon seeing the small woman with orange hair, he bows. Seeing the letter in her hand, Nagiri asks for it and the albino hands it over and if Victoria is on the scene, they give it to her, kek

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Nagiri-san" Greets Rosalia, and steps aside to expose you

"Gwendoline Longbowtomb" Says Nagiri "It's a pleasure to meet you in person, can you accompany me to the office? I need to discuss a matter of utmost importance with you" She says very formally

"Have fun" Says Rosalía with a smile that she tried not to make smug "I'll go check on the others"

...

The walk back to the office was quite quiet, first they passed the antechamber with the secretary and then into the office where if Victoria hadn't accompanied Nagiri, she would have told her to wait here, besides Victoria and Nagiri's secretary, there was a third person, a huge man with yellow eyes and whose face was completely dark, as if he were immersed in the deepest shadows, he stands in a corner without saying anything, but his body language indicates he is in a bad mood.

"Please take a seat" Says Nagiri "Before we begin, Victoria, can you confirm your suspicions one last time, now that she is present?"

Suspicions? What suspicions could the director of everyone's favorite ghost have?

"Where could I take her? Sensei"

Chumimaru turns and uses his quirk to reply, "You can cross the courtyard to the dormitory area, they're ordered by year, so Class A's dorm will be the first one you see! ▼・ᴥ・▼ " You notice Kamojis added to his messages, "The door should open upon recognizing you, or you can use your student ID. Or if not, here you go." He rummages through his yukata and hands you a key, "I always liked traditional things more."

Hanan notes, doing calculations with his hands, "Doesn't UA have like, more than 20 classes across all its courses? How do they have so much space?"

"Embezzlement of government funds It's a secret~" Chumimaru adds.

Well, there wasn't much you could do. While the principal took Gwen for who knows what, you calmly guide Amelia through UA. You walk through the main hallways, empty, liminal due to the lack of activity, though just as bright and clean.

A few minutes later, you cross the exit door to the courtyard, and upon crossing it, there it was, the dormitory area. Each was a sizable complex, with over 20 rooms inherited from the old UA curriculum. Even now that they were in use, most rooms remained empty as there were only 12 students per class.

Opening the door, the interior greets you, a huge living room, as you imagined, with more than enough space for over 20 people. Everything was clean, the lights worked.

"Wow, it's huge..." Amelia says, "Ketsubutsu has dorms too but they're shared, and very small. Compared to this, it's a palace." After further checking the first floor, you find the elevators/stairs to the upper floors. In one corner was the kitchen, and in the other, the bathrooms.

"Well, I'm going to change," Amelia pulled out a small bag from her bat-belt and upon opening it, like an inflatable raft, a bunch of clothes flew out after being unzipped. "I always go out with a change of clothes ready."

Amelia went into the bathroom to change.

...

Now that everything was calm... exhaustion finally catches up to you, and the idea of a nap wasn't so far-fetched.

Your muscles felt heavy, your legs barely responded, your eyelids were heavy.

You take just a couple of steps and barely reach the sofa before instinctively collapsing onto it, sinking into the cushions as your entire body seems to shut down at once.
Your eyelids are heavy, and the immense comfort of this sofa didn't help, you try to stay awake, but you can't.

And before you know it... you had fallen deeply asleep.

...

"Hanan!"

https://youtu.be/XaukQ4pnGN8?t=20sThey wake you up and you fall off the sofa onto the floor

"Are you still on this plane?" You thought so, Amelia extends her hand to help you up "Aren't you going to change too? Do you want me to call the girls to go somewhere? We can also just relax if you want"

>"Hey Chum-sensei! Where is Cornelia-sensei?"

"Cornelia? I'm afraid she's still under house arrest, but she should be back by the time classes resume," he tells you with a smoke message.

'Pffft" The B-class teacher tries to stifle a laugh, Chumimaru looks at her like someone trying to scold a child.

"What?!" complains the blonde.

Chumimaru looks away, already used to the American's attitude.

"You should go rest, Alpyr, you clearly need it, it's very important to take care of your body •▽•)ᕗ" Chumi writes to you.

And you were already on your way to the dorms, it was strange, although you were already used to passing by there, you had never been to your class's dorms and even less slept in the >

"Yawn" At some point Asuna had also climbed on top of you, and she was clearly tired too, having had a mission prior to coming as reinforcements for your fight, it wouldn't seem strange to you if she fell asleep on you.

https://youtu.be/1akdxt0ElGA"Something to drink?" Veronica offers you a soda with one hand, while using another pair of arms to open her own.

Whoooosh! kek

Suddenly, a greenish blur passes before your tired eyes, lifting your hair with the breeze, it skids on the ground, and returns before you can look back.

"Alpyr!" It was Brock Lee, the bushy-browed guy was carrying a box full of tools and more mechanical things "You're back... a-are you okay? Was it very dangerous?"

"Get back here, damn it! Nobody's rushing us, bushy-brows..." Wendy was behind him, carrying more boxes on her shoulder "Oh, it's you, what's up Alpa" the redhead greets "What's up, fatty" Veronica says, to which the four-armed girl frowns.

"Wendy!" the bushy-browed guy scolds her "You just got back, don't be rude."

"Yeah, whatever..." Wendy rolls her eyes "Did anyone die?" What a normal question.

Kirila's face contorts into a grimace of potent rage, a rage so deep she was about to break and turn to the tears welling up in her eyes.

Her voice cracks, oscillating between that and a roar " 'Everything will get better', they say outside the alley, 'Be patient, help will come'. And you know what? No one ever came"

"And now you come... telling me I can still change?" Her breathing becomes irregular "Now? After everything I had to do to survive!?" Her eyes radiate fury and a hint of sadness.

Nazuna and her team's sudden arrival work wonders to help and reduce the ranks of the clone villain thanks to Yukako's support, although the pro was starting to pant from having to maintain so many portals active.

But spirits rise even higher with Karui's explosive re-entry, now aurafarming and exuding enormous confidence.

>"I-Incredible, I-I want to do that too"
>"Teach us how to do that later!"

"Well, if you ask so nicely..." Karui runs her finger under her nose, enjoying the praise with her ego boosted again

"Focus!" Kin says

Yes, they had to fight, and meanwhile, the counters had to go for the paper.
https://youtu.be/ViojeNpKbVM"Fuck, you can't avoid the fumigation no matter what..." Bruce's voice is heard, echoing among his copies

The attacks repeat, but now the clones advance like an avalanche against you, mixing into a huge blizzard of paper blades thrown by Kirila.

"This is going to be ugly, attack!" Yukako shouts

Chihiro joins Kin, firing his compressed air blasts with his shots, Ukyo dodges Bullseye's arrows along with his own, Karui fires her flames along with Nazuna firing magma, but the avalanche of clones falls upon the small protective area Yukako had set up, covering it like a dome.

Yes, they were taking the attacks, much more directly now, but the protection wasn't 100% perfect, there were gaps, small ones, but if even a single clone managed to slip through and close the distance somehow...

Arrows fly, Aura blows, air shots.

"We'll go for the gaps," Ukyo says. "Keep attacking!"

That was all the signal needed, and Lucas had the chance to deliver a more powerful attack.

A triple kick, further enhanced by Yukako's portals, which unfortunately was beginning to retreat and reduce the safe area.

"How much longer are the others going to take?!" she complains

The first kick sends Lucas into the air, the blast crossing the portal and coming out like a huge cannon that disrupts the avalanche, the second coming almost immediately and increasing the chaos, but the third, the third was different.

Applying the Fajin to the third kick, its power was increasing exponentially, all that energy bursting out abruptly from the tip of Lucas's foot, generating a deafening explosion as it broke the air, something that could have been just a strong gust of wind had become a powerful air blade, which, upon crossing Yukako's portal, finished knocking down the clones like bowling pins.

Then comes the pain, Lucas feels it in his leg, as well as from the strain, part of the suit's fabric had been damaged, bursting from the inside out, he loses his balance in the air, feeling a strong cramp in his leg after making that attack, perhaps the timing should have been different for a kick, perhaps more conditioning was needed for these, but it felt like a pull in every muscle fiber of his leg, falling unceremoniously to the ground.

But the fight continued around him like a parade of explosions and shots, but something he could notice in the straw hat on the ground.

A face, a face among the sea of bodies beyond this small safe zone.

His helmet had broken and his face was injured, bleeding, but the lack of light in his eyes, the malice, the rage could be seen. As he moves his hand out of sight...
Lucas can see something small peeking out from one of the portals, and the subsequent shot—smaller, slower, but dangerous. But even if someone were shot with a needle, it was still a shot, and it was still a needle.

"Ow!" Yukako yelps, staggering and covering her face as it starts to bleed. "My eye!"

The portals vibrate for a second, slightly shrinking in size (https://youtu.be/ic4YJgZJrYc?t=2s). The avalanche of paper slips through the gaps, overwhelming everyone for a moment—exactly what the clones use to infiltrate through the portals.

If passing through a portal made something emerge enlarged... then entering from the opposite side would have the reverse effect: a swarm of tiny clones, small enough to fit in the palm of a hand, began dropping down and rushing toward everyone, while the blizzard of paper swirled all around, severely limiting visibility.

The clones moved in all directions, firing needle-like bullets and stabbing with their small energy blades. Yukako stabilizes her portals, but it's already too late—they've been infiltrated.

"Shine: Smash!"

Karui unleashes her flames and delivers a powerful strike to the ground, sending a wave of fire spreading outward, engulfing the paper. Though lacking in raw power, it compensates with sheer coverage. Combined with Nazuna's relentless attacks, they begin burning away the excess paper.

The paper shifts and swirls—and suddenly Kirila stands in the center. Karui moves to attack, but multiple punches pierce her arm, making her stumble.

The purple-haired woman turns her gaze to Nazuna, her expression just as furious as before. Her paper attacks clash against Nazuna's without her moving a single limb, listening to his taunts without reaction.

"Tch."

Suddenly, she lunges at high speed toward Nazuna, slipping through his attacks until they're face to face. The taunts had worked—now her hands are clenched like claws around Nazuna's throat.

"You really want to die, don't you? Annoying, arrogant piece of shit."

The Yakuza doesn't even try to dodge. Streams of magma slam into the paper whirlwind surrounding her, slowly breaking through as heat begins to envelop her.

Both crash to the ground, struggling, her hands still locked around Nazuna's neck.

"Guess what? I'M SICK OF YOU, SHUT UP!" Her fingers dig deeper into the boy's throat. "SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!"

Magma strikes her side, her abdomen, her back. The fabric of her clothes catches fire, her skin starts to char—but she doesn't loosen her grip, determined to choke Nazuna out.

Improvised paper spikes emerge around Nazuna, stabbing into his limbs and the ground nearby, restricting his movement and inflicting pain, forcing him to stay put while Kirila remains on top of him.
"I'm sick of fucking heroes talking about others! DON'T YOU EVER TALK LIKE YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME AGAIN!"

Smoke rose around both of them as she didn't loosen her grip, her expression contorted between tears, rage, and desperation with her skin scorching.

Every breath Nazuna took was harder than the last, her vision began to darken as her lungs searched for air that wouldn't come.

Kirila was also breathing heavily, enduring the pain of being burned, but it no longer seemed to matter.

"Kill me if you want, I don't care if I die trying to protect the only person who could give me a reason to live," she gasped, though her hands trembled, she didn't loosen her grip. "SO LEAVE ME ALONE AND DIE!" Her scream came out broken as she kept squeezing, even as the flames began to consume her.

The paper blizzard around her had become a tornado of blades as she had done before against Bullseye and Ukyo, she didn't want anyone to interfere.

But her strength had waned compared to before.

https://youtu.be/fg9ROj31TOE)A blast of air made an opening, pushing the paper away.

https://youtu.be/fWGdG_NL0cU?t=1sThree arrows hit her from the side, a heavy, high-density arrow, another concussive one on the side already wounded by the flames, and a third rope arrow that entangled her legs, the combined momentum shoving Kirila off Nazuna.

Air returned to her lungs, before Kirila could attack again, Aurelio used his shield aura on her.

"Don't get yourself killed. If you could handle her before, do it again."

Big words of encouragement, before he could say anything else, like a colony of ants, though they were more like rats, the clones climbed on him to stab him, the same they did to Nazuna.

Lucas wasn't doing any better, the self-inflicted damage to his leg took a heavy toll on his mobility, even when he managed to stand up, the small clones climbed on him like rats and started stabbing him all over, small cuts that added up significantly.

Beside him, Karui expelled her flames to get them off her, but the clones' response was to ignore her and go for the others instead.

"Hey!"

Kin was also having a hard time, he tried to get them off him but it was complicated without shooting himself, Yukako too, no matter how agile she was, no matter how much she crushed them, more came and forced her to divert her concentration from the main portals that were keeping the main avalanche of clones at bay.

"Come on, get up!" Karui helped Lucas up, grabbing the small clones and crushing them in her hand despite the stabs she was receiving.

"This is starting to go badly..."

"PSI Technique Number 1: Ashura!"

"Oh no..." Aurelio mutters

https://youtu.be/opBHBAoEZXAThe debris was his platform, and he came from the hole in the ceiling, taking a breath, he spread his arms.

The firearms carried by the clones, every single one of them began to float, escaping their hands and rising into the air, accumulating into a single enormous sphere of twisted metal that floats in the air for a second before being thrown away.

"Phew... that cost something" He wiped some sweat from his forehead, pushing aside his red hair as he stood there on the floating rock "What's up, buddy? Aurelio, Chihiro, Lucas!"

"Hikimiro..." Of all people, Aurelio would have preferred anyone else to come help them

Having to fight to keep their weapons left the clones' defenses exposed.

"KIN!" Yukako shouts

The pro's companion is joined by whoever can in a quick rush that creates more distance between the clones and the safe zone.

"I saw the hole in the ceiling and thought this would be the best way for you two to get in, although it's hard to get close with so many portals" Hikimiro says

'Two', who else came with him?

Crunch

The nutrition cube breaks like hard candy in his teeth as he chews it a couple of times and swallows. Wrapped in a bright, almost ethereal green aura, Mirumo was slowly descending to the ground as a portal faded to make way for her, almost like a divine being, she lands next to Lucas.

"Sorry for the delay" The green-haired girl says with a smile

"Kin, let's go, give them time to be healed!" The pros decide to advance alone to keep the avalanche of clones busy. Yukako advances with Kin, out of the safe zone, also giving Hikimiro a chance to get closer.

Inside the safe zone, the problem of the small clones becomes a bit more manageable when Hikimiro approaches on his floating platform and uses his telekinesis quirk to push them away.

Mirumo pressed her hands against Lucas's chest, using her quirk to heal him as much as she could, the straw hat felt it, the fatigue and pain diminishing, his wounds closing, his leg began to feel better, although it didn't seem to be back to 100% once the nurse moved away.

"I'm so sorry, I have to regulate my energy, I can't heal multiple people at once like Mao sensei, who is the most injured?!" Mirumo asks

"I'm fine, you should check on the orange one" Karui says, pointing at Nazuna

Mirumo hurries to check on Nazuna, she doesn't say much and takes one of her arms to start healing. A green aura enveloping Nazuna's arm and spreading to the rest of her body, healing most of the small wounds she had and helping to mitigate the fatigue, although not at 100%, she was better off than Lucas.

"Arghh, can I get some help?" Hikimiro says, deciding it's better to let go of the debris and land, struggling to keep the mini-clones at bay
"We need help too!" Shouts Kin "If you could hurry up with the healing, that would be great!"

"Concentrate!" Yukako scolds him

The surrounding portals that covered the 'safe zone' finish disappearing, Yukako now focusing her full attention on the new growing threat.

The ground began to shake and crack from the new weight being generated.

"..." Ukyo looks up "...Huh?"

First there were a few hundred, then they became thousands.

The entire sea of clones began to step back a few paces as new copies emerged one on top of another, climbing, pushing, forming a mass that kept growing, larger than the previous one.

Bodies were piling on top of each other, like ants building on the bodies of their sisters, the mountain kept growing, more and more, to the point where it could now easily escape in that form, but its objective no longer seemed to be present in its mind.

As if responding to a single will, thousands of masked faces moved.

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

The laughter echoes from all bodies at once, making the enclosure vibrate.

"Did you take my weapons? I don't need them. I just need more of me!"

His laughter echoes again, and from a corner, Kirila looks confusedly at her boss, unsure, but pushes those thoughts away to look back at the group, and at Nazuna.

"As they say... choose your poison..." she mutters, no longer having much energy to shout due to her wounds, she attacks Nazuna from a distance with several paper blades.

But the main threat seemed more serious, the tsunami of bodies begins to fall upon you, and the pros begin to retreat, unable to do anything substantial against it.

"Run!" Yukako shouts

"..." Hikimiro swallows, before looking at Lucas, his expression a struggle of nerves wanting to return to his usual more positive and excited expression "Lucas, I have an idea! Remember our last clash in the tournament?" When Hikimiro threw the entire ring on top of the straw hat and he countered with a Smash that broke his arm? "Let's do that, but together! And let the others help if they can."

Kin passes by these two, firing several shots that do little to diminish the wave of clones.

"If you have an idea, apply it before we lose ground, I don't want to fight with that in the hallway!" He says

"I'll give you the firepower you need!" Yukako adds

"Amelia, Amelia, Amelia, you're free now, heh"

-Amelia-

"Well, I'm going to change"

-Hanan-

"I'll wait for you here"

The succubus lay down while waiting for Amelia to come out of the bathroom, little by little the world was turning black, her head was accepting that it was time to rest, so before she knew it...

-Amelia-

"Hanan!"

-Hanan-

"GYAHK!"

Like a cat stretching all its limbs, jumping before settling down and landing on its feet with Amelia's help.

-Amelia-

"Aren't you going to change too?"

-Hanan-

"Ah... yes... ahem... I think I have something extra... or else I'll just clean myself up for a bit"

The succubus approached the mirror, lowering her hood, letting her hair burst out, after all Amelia has already seen it, more or less, she let her touch it.

She got a little closer to try to fix that ahoge that formed, failing spectacularly.

She sighed, after all no one is going to see it, before putting her hood back on and going to clean herself up and get ready.

...

-Amelia-

"Do you want me to call the girls to go somewhere? We can also just relax if you want"

-Hanan-

"Either is fine with me, I'd like to lie down a bit longer while I shake off the sleepiness, if I fall asleep kick me, though I don't think you will, then we'll go, I'm hungry"

>Victoria
"Do you think my butt looks fat in this suit?" she asks, her back hunched and her rear pointed at Nagiri.

She accepts the check and the letter of recommendation. She refrains from asking if there will be compensation for damages, she still hasn't forgotten all the rough treatment she received upon arrival and how badly she suffered, when all she longed for was to help...

And money.

Victoria opts to wait in the office.

...

>Gwendoline
"I won't go in if you don't get her out of my sight!" she exclaims, her eyes closed, hands outstretched to maintain distance, and her face turned as far as possible from the playing card. Chumimaru takes care of the deck, and the ghost can finally enter the building. She doesn't explain why she was so scared. She simply follows the director.

Now in the office...

The specter floats to position herself on the chair, back straight, arms crossed, cradling her prominent chest between them. Nagiri asks for confirmation. Victoria nods, and silence falls as she makes eye contact with Gwendoline. Four seconds pass, Victoria turns pale, her cheeks puff out, she looks at Nagiri...

And pukes.

"BRRRRUAAAAAAGH!"

Blood vomit erupts from the brunette like a geyser and stains Nagiri all over, on her face, hair, chest, and arms. Gwendoline floats her chair half a meter back so the red doesn't splash her.

The psychic collapses to her side, and on the floor, with trembling, contracted limbs and two bloody strings descending from her chin, she nods, barely managing to lift her head.

Victoria: Y-Yes... Without a doubt... It's an evil spirit... It's like Ringu... Not the book, the movie... Or p-perhaps the book...? I hope not... B-But yes, it's her.

Gwendoline doesn't understand anything for a moment and just frowns, looking presumptuous.

"Anyway, I came here to receive my prize and my recognition. I'm willing to move up a couple of ranks, as you surely deem necessary. First demand: I want Hinata to come with me, I know she's not capable, but she's something like my accessory."

The reason Victoria fears the Sadako from the book is because she is a futanari. And nothing is more terrifying than that!

"Hmmm..." Nagiri observes the back area of Victoria with great attention "It depends, would you see that as something positive or negative? Nowadays standards are very different than before" That sounded like something someone with no ass would say "Tuck your butt in a bit, yeah"

...

Victoria gives the floor a new coat of wax with her explosive bloody vomit, Nagiri covers herself by raising some documents and the mysterious guy in the corner of the room can only let out a sound of disgust.

Nagiri presses a button on her desk communicator "Oda, tell the janitor to come here" The elf got up from her seat and, avoiding the vomit mess, took Victoria by the shoulders to help her up "It's okay, you've done enough, try not to overexert yourself"

"What's happening Nagiri-saAAY PLEASE!" The janitor with long hair and a scar on his chin arrives faster than a rooster crows only to see the homicide of cleanliness caused by Victoria

"Please clean this up. Oda, take our guest outside and call an ambulance" Says Nagiri, still calm and impassive as the psychic passes from director to secretary

Meanwhile, the janitor uses a mop and shoots water from his finger to clean up as quietly as possible.

"Anyway, forgetting what just happened..." Nagiri sits down again "Do you know why I called you here, Gwendoline?"

>"I came here to receive my prize and my recognition(...)First demand: I want Hinata to come with me"

Nagiri makes no complaint "While you and your companions will all receive due recognition for having participated in a mission of this caliber, that's not why I called you...besides" She starts reviewing another document, you can see Hinata's photo "I have no decision-making power in matters involving students from other schools, I should call Kyoshi now that I think about it..." She mutters, but shakes her ears to clear her distractions "Anyway, with that clear now--"

She took another folder and slammed it against the desk so you could see its contents, all those fake names and numbers, you knew them very well, all the information was highlighted "Would you be so kind as to explain all these inconsistencies in your record? Because right now I have a lot of questions about it, starting with the fact that legally, there are no records that a Gwendoline Longbowtomb ever existed or that she was related to that wealthy family"

"..." Amelia slowly turns her head to look at you, no expression on her face, mute and hard as a statue until you lift the curse "Pff, are you 5 years old?"

She goes to change amidst laughter while leaving you alone, where you take a power nap, the good kind that can replace 8 hours of sleep with no health consequences.

When she returned, she had already changed and lets you get ready, with not much success other than cleaning off the dirt you had on you.

>"For me, anyone is fine(...)"

"As you say, I'll let them know, in the meantime..." Amelia leaves the phone on the table and collapses next to you on the sofa, sinking into the cushions with a sigh "Uuugh... I'm destroyed~..." She murmurs as she stretches her legs. "A nap sounds good..."

She settled in more until she found a comfortable position, closing her eyes from the comfort, and they fell silent.
Again, there was still some fatigue, but this sleepiness was more pleasant, when one knew that there was nothing left to do and could enjoy a well-deserved rest.
The phone on the table vibrated insistently, repeating the ringtone incessantly.

Amelia let out a protesting groan, "Nghh..." Without much conviction, she stretched her arm toward the device, fumbling blindly for a few seconds before successfully grabbing it. "Ugh... who's calling at this hour?" She rubbed her eyes, waking up slightly. "Oh, Hanan, it's the girls." She sat up, yawning before answering the call and turning on the speaker. "Moshi Moshi?" she asked, still with a drowsy voice.

On the other side of the line, a familiar voice soon rang out, accompanied by the background noise of several people talking at once. "Took you long enough. Did you survive?"

"Don't know, Hanan, did we survive?" she asked.

"Well I think not—we're dead and talking to you from the underworld."

"Awesome," replied Hanahari. "Are you free, or are you stuck at the hospital or something?"

"I think so... we took a nap, we're starving. Any ideas? I don't know what places might be open now—basically it was a day off."

"Yeah, I tried going to the secret restaurant but it was closed. We've been looking for a good spot to prepare... you know, a little celebration. You and Ukyo got sent to Normandy and are coming back as heroes. You too, Hanan." You were included.

"So then?"

"We're waiting for you. I'll send you the location."

"Ready?"

implying

They didn't waste any time getting ready. When they left, the afternoon had already advanced further, edging one step closer to night.

The subway was still running despite the chaos left by that morning's operation. The cars were much emptier than usual, mostly filled with workers heading home or people like you, just beginning to resume their routines after an unusual day.

As they left Shizuoka behind and approached Tokyo, the city seemed to awaken once more, more active than that morning.

Some streets were still cordoned off, patrols and emergency vehicles still moving through certain areas, but shops were beginning to lift their shutters, neon signs flickered back on, and gradually pedestrian traffic returned to the avenues.

After a final transfer, they got off at a station near the meeting point.

The chosen restaurant was a small place, one of those hidden between taller buildings, surviving thanks to its regular customers. Through the window, a warm atmosphere could be seen, the scent of freshly cooked food escaping every time someone opened the door. You could detect a pattern in what the Ketsubutsu girls liked.

Someone was already waiting, sitting near the window, one hand propping up her cheek as she absentmindedly played with the glass of water in front of her. Hanahari lifted her gaze upon hearing the entrance bell, and pushed her hood down.

"Took you long enough." She gestured for them to come to the table. "Sit down before Mitsu fills your seats with her orders."

"Does saving the country feel good?"
