Her apparent apathy stems from deep emotional exhaustion. She appears disinterested, speaks in a monotone, and maintains a deadpan expression, but inside she's filled with chaotic feelings and beliefs even messier than her room—perhaps due to, or perhaps despite, growing up in a religious environment while simultaneously being exposed to such peculiar influences.

Socially, she's even worse—a walking disaster. She craves affection but panics when receiving it; she needs companionship, yet the idea of interacting with someone terrifies her more than any villain ever could. She claims to hate everything the spirit of Amelia lives in all of us, but loneliness eats at her more than she'd care to admit.

Her shyness takes on strange, almost aggressive forms: when uncomfortable, she withdraws, contradicts, makes biting remarks, or simply flees. She'd rather burn a bridge than admit she cares. She mocks others to shield herself from her own insecurities, and avoids real issues as if they were contagious.

Yet at the same time, she's the type who, upon receiving even the smallest affection, clings tighter than a stray dog—sending you messages at 3 a.m. or giving weird gifts like a greasy lock of her hair or a plastic clip from her collection, because to her, this is pure intimacy—or letting someone touch Steve.

Life in the church community wasn't that bad—she always had a roof, food on the table, and education. But none of that could ever replace the lack of affection from an alcoholic mother who still had the mindset of a teenage party girl, or her strange relationship with another woman who was practically her aunt or second mother. Being an unwanted daughter, with an absent father who fled from a forced marriage, wasn't exactly setting her up for a bright future.

Even growing up with the Johnson family's kids as siblings (and later that cat guardian too), she always felt isolated and deeply insecure due to the lack of a real maternal figure in her life—or rather, because of the pathetic excuse she did have. For much of her childhood, she ended up idealizing Claire (affectionately, "Aunt Claire") in an almost divine way, as if she were an angel, since Claire was the one who actually raised her properly, while Lieko was too busy being drunk, ogling Claire's ass, slacking off, or needing to be dragged to her bodyguard job by Raion. And even when she tried to be a mother, no matter how good her intentions or how much she cared for her daughter, she was still a terrible mother.

But even though Claire was at the very top of her favorite people list, when adolescence hit and she entered her rebellious "nobody understands me, I hate everyone" phase, bitterness crept in—especially after hearing, during one of her mother's many drunken mutterings in her sleep, some things that deeply tarnished that idealized image she had of Claire. And just like that, it felt as if a part of her world had collapsed.

As for her father, don't even get her started. She sees him a couple times a year, and it's always an awkward ordeal where he takes her out to eat, trying to chat and catch up, which only results in more discomfort before he leaves again to sea or whatever the hell he's doing. She's still angry at him.

Raion was more of a father to her. And though the mutant was never very affectionate, his presence was stable, constant—more than she could say about Jūbe. He was always there at breakfast, when she left for school, when she came back. Even those times he got kicked out for standing outside her school for six hours straight, taking his job way too seriously.
Her daughter Bella, on the other hand, gradually became a sort of secondary friend/therapist to Clementine. Not out of any calling, but simply because she was the only one who didn't run away when Clem started ranting about life (she also couldn't go anywhere else—living under the same roof, her sole reason for existing was following her father's mission to protect this dynasty).

Clem: "...but ohhh, my mom can get all lovey-dovey with Aunt Claire when they're traveling, but if I hold hands with a girl, then I'm sinning? Hypocritical bunch, I hate you all..."

Bella: "You do know I'm not a psychologist, right?"

Clem: "I know, but while Raion can't say 'no' to Aunt Claire, you keep quiet, so you're the only one I can take it out on."

Bella: The cat shrugged, acknowledging there was truth to that. She didn't mind either way—she was just doing her job serving the family, and Clem came as part of the package.
"But who is Amelia, and why does Ms. Claire have a wig to look like her?"

Clem: "Still trying to figure that out."

Bella: "And who's Chieko, and why the obsession with her crotch?"

Clem: "That's one thing I don't even want to know."

Clementine's Quirk manifests as the summoning and permanent bond with a quasi-humanoid familiar, which—due to a complete lack of creativity—she named "Steve."

It's still unclear whether Steve is merely a projection of her subconscious or possesses any independent reasoning or individuality, but ever since being named, he always responds to Clem's call.

Unlike other summoning-type Quirks, Steve isn't an independent creature separate from his user. He's a projection deeply linked to Clementine's senses, emotions, and physical state—much like her mother Lieko's Quirk and her horse 'Lola'.

What Steve hears, she hears. What he feels, she feels. If Steve is hit, Clementine feels the pain. If Steve touches something cold, Clem shivers. And if Steve were to laugh (which he doesn't), Clementine probably would too.
Steve has a quasi-humanoid appearance, being entirely black and made of a metallic composition, with yellow details that almost look like clothing and a crest resembling a crown. He doesn't seem to have ears or eyes but can still see and hear through his connection with Clementine. He has a mouth and very large white teeth, lacking lips or anything similar to a digestive system, or organs in general, but he still has those Colgate teeth.

Steve is not only composed of a super hard and resistant metallic alloy, but also flexible. He is capable of manipulating his form, becoming denser or liquid, and is also a great conductor of temperature or electricity (although Clem doesn't usually take advantage of that because she would also feel like she's burning or getting electrocuted).

His greatest ability is to act as a portal. By making contact with any part of his body, Clementine can make the object or person be expelled from another section of Steve's body. Possessing a small personal pocket dimension inside.
He can also become invisible, or permeate through some sufficiently porous surfaces by becoming liquid.

Despite looking quite demonic, he was not exorcised because precisely the day he was discovered, he was copying Clementine's movements and it looked like he was praying with her, and that gave him the green light >implying in Claire's eyes kek.

Good question, for the lightning fest, and with everyone being comparable to each other, Lucas and Akira should be from equal, up to maybe triple the speed of Ooishi (base). They could have minimal problems with his teleportation and prediction ability, however, Ooishi is a much better martial artist and that would put them in a bit of trouble, not to mention that with the fish quirk, biting one is game over, if Lucas manages to land a Smash before he can react to redirect, I think it would mess him up if it didn't kill him, kek, the first role was inconsistent and super OP, but there's also the problem that Ooishi adopts, High Diff for the og duo.
